"You're right." He laughed weakly.

"Well, it's your turn." She pointed at him.

"I'm sorry." He sounded sad.

Then,she noticed he apologized for what he was about to do,not because he didn't understand her. He was carrying her on his shoulder.

She kept hitting him demanding that he put her on solid ground. At some point,she gave up on resisting. Seeing that he started a conversation.

"Do you know why I'm famous?"

"Why should I care?" She crossed her arms angry.

"It's due to the fact that I always find the missing persons,dead or alive."

"Tell them my body was in such an awful condition that you had to bury me in a hurry or whatever!" Suggested full of enthusiasm.

"Do you hate them that much?" He knew they weren't exactly loving parents, though that didn't make them monsters.

"I'll be a corpse anyway if I marry Claude Charna." He halted once he heard that name.

"Are you...serious? They were crazy enough to marry a princess to that bastard?!"

"If you don't believe me, ask any of the townsfolk."

"There 's no need,my best friend was his first wife." She could feel his regret.

"My condolences." Was the only thing she managed to say.

"Thank you,princess." Shaken by the truth , Azad finally put her down.

"You can call me Selina."

"I'm so sorry,Selina. I almost sent you to your grave as well.." His tears were rolling down incessantly.

"It's not your fault." She said gently rubbing his back.

His sobbing was somehow making her cry too, perhaps the fear she's been hiding from herself imagined that this moment was appropriate for manifesting.

That night,they stayed in an inn. Completely speechless,like there was something on their throats impeding them to speak. An uncomfortable silence pestered them, waiting for the other to break it first. However, none of them did.
