Meanwhile in the DRA headquarters, Eren speaks to the president of the DRA, Vilhelm Neros. "You called to discuss the situation." asked Eren. "As you should know the shadow drragon has been attacking the barrier more frequently as of late. The reason is curently unkown but that doesn't matter right now." said Vilhelm. "Let me guess you want to send riders to investigate." asked Eren. "Aren't you a smart one. But yes we are about to send riders to investigate. This includes you. You and the other riders will be searching for the cause and will be stopping these attacks." said Vilhelm. "It will be done. For the sake of the people of Feros." said a confident Eren. As Eren leaves, he excitaly tells Glacious of their first major task.

As Eren was about to get on Glacious, a blur bumped into the young man knocking him to the ground. Glacious looked and saw Eren on the ground and next to him was a lamia in a medical attire and bag of medical potions. "Oh my, sir are you alright?" asked the lamia. "Yeah, I'm fine but why are you in a hurry miss?" replied Eren. The lamia introduced herself "The names Ellena, Ellena Serpenta and I've been assigned to assist a dragon rider named Eren Frost". "I'm Eren Frost and this is my partner Glacious." said Eren as he points behind him. Ellena looked with a visible look of fear. She trembles at Glacious' large size, claws on his hands, and visible bone crushing teeth. Eren assures Ellena that Glacious is not a threat and told the ice drake to lie down. As Eren climbed on top of Glacious, he reach out his hand and lets Ellena on Glacious. With Eren and Ellena on Glacious, the three head out into the wilderness to stop the shadow dragon.

While on the road, Eren decides to start a conversation with Ellena. "So why did you react that way towards Glacious?" asked Eren. "Dracophobia. I rather not talk about it." said Ellena. "What about you? What made join the DRA" Ellena asked. "I joined because I wanted to help people. I heard the stories and was inspired by the heroic deeds the dragon riders were known for." Eren remanised. Their conversation continued for the rest of the day. Later, they came across a town and decided to stay for the night. Eren left Glacious with Ellena and went to rent a room to stay in. From there Ellena joined Eren to get some rest. Glacious stayed outside and quickly fell asleep.

Meanwhile in the Motel, Eren and Ellena began to change in more casual attire. As Eren removes his helmet, Ellena noticed that Erens eyes are glowing. "So whats your family like?" asked Ellena. "My mothers a gaia elf and was always caring to the point of being a bit ossesive about my well being at times." replied Eren. Eren continued "My dad and I never got along well. The one time he care for me was when I got attacked by a wyvern". The two continued to better know eachother. Ellena mentions how her parents used to be medical professionals before she entered the field. After several minutes of conversation, the two proceeded to get some rest in preperation for the next day.
