The next day, Glacious wakes up to people obseving his. They look in awe at the sight of an ice drake, one of feros' many predatory animals. Glacious pays them no mind and waits for Eren and Ellena. Just then the rider and medic exit the motel before calming the public. Eren and Ellena proceed to board Glacious an head out in search of a possible trial that leads them to the Shadow dragon. On their journey, Eren can't help but think about the conversation from last night. During the conversation, he noticed something about Ellena. He notice that her tail (which had bright green scales) ended early on with the rest of the tail being cybernetic. He couldn't bring himself to ask back then since he had no clue as why Ellenas tail was the way it is. As Eren is about to ask Ellena, Glacious stopped moving sensing danger near by. "Whats wrong big guy?" asked Eren. Just then, Eren is shot in the shoulder with an arrow and falls of Glacious. Glacious and Ellena look as the perpetraitor makes themself know.

A cloaked figure lands in front of Glacious. Glacious gets into a defensive position. He bears his teeth at the perpetraitor while hissing with an a look of agression. Meanwhile, Ellena tends to Erens wounds. She gently removed the arrow before cast healing magic on the injury. Luckily, Erens armor prevented the damage from getting worse. Before Eren could call for Glacious, he watched as Glacious calms down as the cloaked figure approaches him slowly. "Get away from him!" yelled Eren. The cloaked figure removed their cloak revealling a gaia elf underneath. "You know you haven't fed him right?" asked the Gaia elf. "Ice drakes need lots of meat." the Gaia elf iterated. "How much meat dose he need exactly and why the hell did you shoot me?" asked Eren. The Gaia elf explained that she thought Eren was a bandit and that he needs around ten pounds of meat for Glacious. The Gaia elf apologizes for the misunderstanding and introduces herself as Vera.

Vera explains that she is an environmentalist who works at a nature reserve. She was tasked to conduct research and gather information on various endangered species like the sasquatch. Eren and Ellena introduce themselves to Vera and explain the current situation. "Wait a shadow dragon? I thought they were suppose to be extinct." said Vera. "Well since you want to stop this dragon, I guess I can join you. Plus this would make for some excellent research." continued Vera. Eren, Ellena, and Glacious were surprised to know that shadow dragons were that rare. The three of them except Veras assistance and let her join the group. The four of them decided to continue on their journey and proceed to make their way towards the Shadow dragons location. Where ever it may be of course.

Meanwhile in the DRA headquarters, a rider in red armor goes to speak with Vilhelm. The rider speaks with Vilhelm about recent findings. "Sir, we have managed to find a blood trail. DNA analysis implied that it belonged to the shadow dragon." said the rider. "Good, very good. Do you know where that beast is located?" asked Vilhelm. The red rider mentions that the location of the Shadow dragon is still unknown. Vilhelm orders the red rider to give the information to any and all nearby dragon riders. After that, the red rider confront his dragon outside of the HQ. "Lets go Inferno. The sooner we take down the shadow dragon, the sooner this city can be a peace, free from its reign of terror." said the red rider. The red rider climbs up on Inferno and heads of to give the information. In the mind of the rider, he thinks of the task given to him by Vilhelm. Stop the shadow dragon by any means necessary. Ideas of  what Vilhems intentions are can wait. For now, the red rider and his dragon ae on an important mission for the safety of the people of Feros.
