Wrestling in the afternoon 

Listening to his favorite tunes

They would be such simple memories 

If he didn't do that to you

Does he even remember these things

Or were you simply a forgettable toy

"I should make sure to only make him happy." 

"Maybe if he's happy, this won't happen again." 

But it did. 

Again, and again, and again. 

It took years for you to understand 

That you did nothing wrong. 

But it's too late. 

You've been trained like a puppy. 

When was the last time 

You didn't smile? 

When was the last time

You said what you thought?

You did what you want?
