Eren slowly opens his eyes after a few days recovering. He looks and realizes he is in the Shadow dragons lair. As he moves, Eren feels a great pain coming from his abdomen. Eren quickly notices the bandages covering the injury he had sustained. Just then, Ellena enters the room and was shocked to see that Eren was awake. She went to inform the others and from there Vera and Glacious entered to see for themselves. The group proceeds to hug Eren knowing that he is going to be fine. "Sorry for worrying all of you. Taking a bullet to the gut can really knock a guy out." Said Eren. "Of course we were worried! Glacious had your barely conscious body when we found you!" Proclaimed Vera. Ellena tells Eren that he needs time to recover. Eren obliges with Ellenas recommendation. Vera informs him that the Shadow dragon told them everything about the war with the Dragons. Just then Maxwell walks in to give Eren some crucial information about Vilhelm.

While Eren was in a coma, Maxwell went to check on Vilhelm. Maxwell enters the medical center of HQ and saw that Vilhelm has a robotic arm since the original arm turned to dust. "Ah, Sir Maxwell Burner. Come stay awhile." Said an oddly chipper Vilhelm. "You seem fine... despite your current condition. Why exactally did you call me Vilhelm?" Said a cautious Maxwell. Vilhelm pushes a button causing the floor move downward like an elevator.  He then points behind Maxwell towards a strange shape. Maxwell turns and is shocked to see a dragon corpse. The body belongs to a species known as light dragons, which went extinct during the war. "Once I have successfully used my magic to revive this creature, I will be the ruler of all of Feros and I will exact revenge on the dragons for what they've done. Maxwell Burner, I expect you to be the one to lead my army for when I become ruler." Said a cofident Vilhelm. "I don't intend to disappoint you Vilhelm. I'd best be going. Its going to rain soon anyway." Said Maxwell trying to hold his fear before leaving. Maxwell proceeds to exit the same way he came in and gets on Inferno. Inferno proceeds to fly off towards the Shadow dragons lair.

Back in the present, Maxwell explains that they have to stop Vilhelm. In order to do that though they need to lower the barrier so the Shadow dragon can take down the light dragon. Maxwell proclaims that its best if he tries to shut down the barrier due everyone else being a target for Vilhelm and his forces. Vera objects claiming that they'd likely be prepared for that scenario. Despite this Eren agrees with Maxwell due to the fact any other way would pose greater resistance. With that, they set to initiate the plan four days from now. By then Eren would've fully recover (or at least mostly recover) from his injuries. Over the next three days they divising and preparing a plan to save Feros from the authoritarian in the making known as Vilhelm Nelos, the undead elven necromancer.
