Earth, so united yet so deprived of the beauty of nature. Warships roam the skies like the clouds that were once in their place. Towers soared high while the streets were flooded with soldiers. Many cheered when tanks rolled down the street to fight riots and calm the people down. The ship that oversaw this whole chaos was the Ordinance.
A flagship that is more significant than others. It roamed the galaxy and the Earth. It parked itself over the hazy skies of Singapore for Him. As the Singaporean leadership waved the flag that had the red and white colours and the crescent moon with stars, another flag waved beside it. A pinkish flag with a log and an axe in the middle of it. A redesigned version of the flag of the National Fascist Party all those years ago. Below it, a sign stated,
Galactic Liberation Front
As the history of the Front was stated. The Galactic Liberation Front is a paramilitary faction sanctioned by the New Galactic Dominion that operates independently under a fascist leader. Monarch was the 3rd who wielded the title Supreme Leader and the first to sanction totalitarian rule within the Front’s colonies. Due to the increase of economic stability and integration of galactic policies in planets under the Front, the Emperor promised more sectors for the Supreme Leader to control. His claim over Earth allowed humans to prosper. A unified planet at last. The paragraph ended with…
All Hail the Supreme Leader
On the Ordinance, soldiers patrolled along the corridors. Two elite guards were stationed outside a room with gold fittings at the entrance. As the doors slid open, a man walked in. He had a navy-esque uniform but it was dark. He had a military cap and on his left sleeve, it had a golden stitched crest that overlapped on another crest.
He steadily walked to the center of the room. His trench coat swayed around as he came to a halt. He took it off due to the warmth aura that the room emitted.On his shoulders, there were bars but they did not represent ranks that human military forces use. However, it was the rank of Admiral.
“I bring good news into the fold.” He said so cunningly yet with respect. His tone was mighty but it seemed like he was inferior. Though he was intelligent in the art of war, Admiral Eclion will always respect his superior.The man standing metres away from him was a man in darkness. He loomed over Singapore while two other operators under Omega’s unit were beside him.
He wore a cape and a hood. The devilish purple horns that protruded from his helm tore through the hood. The other two were like his jaw. As he turned slowly, his full appearance could be seen. It was not military-like nor was it formal. It seemed very religious and mystical. He wore gauntlets from an unknown metal alloy on top of mythical clothings that seemed very ancient. His helm, however, was the most frightening part of his wardrobe. He had a visor that glowed purple. It made him very unreadable, even in the eyes of enemies stronger than him. He gave himself a very mighty name to show off his pride and bravery to claim any planet he wishes. The people under him only acknowledge him as Supreme Leader Monarch.
The Dark King, the devil, a ruthless Dictator. He has been called many names over the time of his rule. Beside him, two elite operators under a division named, 'Tariol Operators'.
Aiden Lee. He wields the hulking super-suit that he dubbed as the Ravage Mech. A shield that allows him superhuman strength, power and agility on top of a flight mechanism and other far range weapons. He was once seen as a criminal in the eyes of humanity. In the very country he is hovering over, he sought revenge on a certain someone but was denied because a ghost defeated him. Like the other operators under Omega, he too was recycled by Monarch.
The other, Cerezera Ashe. A woman whose heart beats irregularly. Her powers grant her short range teleportation and superhuman strength but at the cost of a minor bloodlust, much like a vampire. Wielding a scythe and a mythical gem, she once fought for The New Allegiance. She was unfortunately a victim of the corruption that would later be the downfall of the faction. She fled to seek peace and justice for the crimes committed against her. This allowed Monarch to provide her the means for her to claim vengeance. In return, he will be able to receive her servitude.
They both stared at the Admiral. Although they did not outrank him, they were arrogant as they were stronger.
Used to the immaturity of the Operators, Admiral Eclion continued.
“Omega has made contact with the escaped subject, Destoria Roxx. He was able to plant the tracking chip on her and I predict that she will be able to find the traitor and possibly, the headquarters of the New Allegiance.”
Monarch continued to glare down on the buildings that surround the Marina Bay. He knew that Omega would succeed to an extent. He wanted more news.
“Talk to me about Carter’s relationship with the New Allegiance.” He asked, calmly. His dark voice was soft yet it brought chills.
Eclion replied,
“We have speculated that he might have alerted the Head Operators about Destoria Roxx. This is a pressing matter because they have assumed her to be dead. Knowing that their long lost friend is alive will result in a possible form of retaliation. They might-
“Accuse me of war crimes? Torturing and experimenting on prisoners of war without proper fair treatment?” Monarch asked calmly as he stared into the Admiral’s eyes.
“Something along those lines. However, I hardly doubt that the Council of the Cosmos would entertain rebels and their accusations.” The Admiral crossed his hands behind his back.
“I want you to make sure that if they somehow know about Destoria’s awakening, they must also be responsible for a form of war crime. Play their own game against them. I entrust this responsibility to you, my dear friend.” Monarch pointed to him as he spoke.
“Yes, Supreme Leader.” He would bow.
As Admiral steadily walked out of the room, Monarch turned to the other two.
“You joined me for a reason. Revenge. The insurgents will be revealed soon. When they do reveal themselves, respond swiftly and appropriately. Crush them when they are at their weakest.” He would command them.
Ashe turned to Ravage.
“Yes, boss. Shouldn’t be hard to settle.” Ravage replied. His arrogance was his weakness.
“Cocky motherfucker, aren’t ya? Haha.” Ashe would taunt Ravage before making her leave.
Ravage joined Ashe, leaving Monarch alone in the room. He continued to look down on the streets of Singapore, seeing himself as a god amongst men.
Softly, he chuckled.

Deep inside the universe in a sector not far from Earth, there was a planet. It looked like Earth but it was more blue. The greenery was more vibrant and the oceans were more clean. It seemed uninhabited. There were no warships or carriers that hovered around the atmosphere. Travellers call it Tessa.
Right on the greenland fields, a woman was on her knees. She seemed like she was meditating. Her eyes were close shut and the expression on her face was of a calm nature. She was wearing battle armour mixed with a tunic top. A warrior of peace, Athena Sho’u.
She maintained her focus of learning about herself.
She had endured much at such a young age. Enlisted into the New Allegiance to fight a doomed battle due to her extraordinary abilities. Energy Manipulation was a very common yet powerful ability. It was normally birth-given due to a special membrane that exists in the body of a sentient being. In the new century however, it was scientifically proven by research corporations across the galaxy that one could inherit such abilities if they are exposed to high levels of dark matter. Due to the extreme measures to obtain such an ability, it is rare that humans possess it. The rare instance includes Athena.
Softly behind her, the crunch of grass being crushed could be heard. It slowly grew louder…and louder…and louder. It would come to a stop as a shadow could be seen beside her.
“I thought you would be resting.” She initiated the conversation.
“Well, I don’t feel good resting with a monster hellbent on finding me. God knows what she wants to do.” The man pulled down his hood. It was Carter Mile. The man who once worked alongside the Supreme Leader to experiment on Destoria. He fled the Supreme Leader’s grasp after he realised that Monarch’s goal was galactic domination. He swore to help the Allegiance to give them a weapon strong enough to fight Monarch and his armada of operators.
“She still has good in her, Carter. Even though she is clouded with her thoughts and is probably burdened with a bloodlust, it is beyond her control.”
“How are you so hopeful that when she eventually finds us, she will change her mind?” Carter spoke loudly in confusion.
Athena smiled, before replying,
“Well, she mentored me when I was young and made sure that in service as an Operator, I serve justice appropriately. More like an elder sister I never had. That and she is your adoptive daughter.”
