I hit the facetime icon for the group chat and the phone started ringing. I turn around and face my headboard, placing my phone against it. Alex answers the phone, and he is in his bedroom as well. Posters are all over his dark green walls. He has LED lights placed around his bed frame which are lighting up his room. He is as well in his PJ’s. “I really like your room.”, I said, still looking for smaller details. He thanked me and said, “I like yours too, it suits you very well.” I don’t think my room suited me that well. It had sage green walls with a few posters scattered around. The posters have animal charts and a few dinosaur ones. I thanked him after releasing I was taking too long to answer. After we talked a little about our hobbies K hopped onto the call. “Hey, having fun without me?”, she said as soon as her picture popped up. Alex and I just shook our heads. Alex spoke before I could, “Just finding out how big of a nerd Theo is.” I was shocked for a second before I had a decent comeback. I say without hesitation, “At least I’m not an astronomy nerd.” He slammed his hand against his chest and made the most exaggerated gasp, “How dare thee? You have no taste.” I shake my head and let out a small giggle. The call lasted a little longer and soon ended. While on the call I met Alex’s little sister, Avery, She’s 6 years old. She likes cats and likes to play with blocks. She likes my haircut and apparently wants to cut her hair like mine. She is very cute and giggly.
