Eren falls down landing on his back while still on the light dragon. Vilhelm hovers over Eren with an imposing silhouette as he begins to raise his staff. Before Vilhelm could stab Eren, Maxwell pulls out his fire pistol and shoots Vilhelm in the shoulder. Eren quickly gets back up and grabs his sword, read to continue the fight. Eren charges at Vilhelm and proceeds to swing his sword at the necromancer. Meanwhile, Maxwell flanks Vilhelm and begins to open fire on him. Vilhelm guards each attack from the two riders, making sure neither of them land a hit. Maxwell leaps into the air before bombarding Vilhelm with fireballs. Eren responds by freezing Vilhems feet making thenecromancer unable to move. As Vilhelm struggles to get free from the ice, Eren goes in for a stab straight towards Vilhems undead heart, the source of his power. Eren pulls out his sword leaving a hole in Vilhelms chest behind. Vilhelm begins to collapse due to his body loosing the magic that animate. He sees Eren and out of desperation fires a beam of energy at the rider. Maxwell sees this and shoves Eren out of the way taking the hit. As the injured Maxwell falls, he uses his pistol and shoots Vilhelm in the head. Vilhelm disintergrates into dust as Eren grabs Maxwell and jumps off the light dragon.

Meanwhile, the light dragon proceeds to go for a bite on the Shadow dragons throat only for Inferno to interupt the attempt. Glacious gets back up and proceeds to leap on the light dragon, slash apart its undead flesh with his claws. Inferno continues to focus fire on the light dragon. The Shadow dragon shoves the light dragon off and slashes at the undead beast with his claws and bite with his teeth. The light dragon smacks Inferno and Glacious away before firing its beam at the Shadow dragon. The Shadow dragon fired his shadow breath in response causing the two beams to clash. The Shadow dragon struggles to maintain his stance as the injuries take a toll on the dragon. Just then Glacious fires his ice breath at the light dragon. Inferno joins by firing his flame breath at the light dragon as well. The three beams converge on a single point and pushed the light dragons beam back. With the power of all three dragons, the light dragon was slain. Its skin desolves and its flesh turns to dust leaving behind nothing but bones. Glacious and Inferno catch their breaths, exhausted from the fight. The Shadow dragon collapses on the ground before looking at Glacious and Inferno one last time and succumbs to his wounds and discovering peace for the first time.

Eren lands on the ground beneath him, luckily able to maintain balance while holding Maxwell. Ellena tries to quickly make her way to the riders. Maxwell, having lost too much blood from the previous attack, tells Eren that he had many regrets in life and had done terrible things like the humans before him. Thanks to Eren, Ellena, Vera, and Glacious, Maxwell was able to make amends for his past and that his secrets will no longer hurt others. Maxwell gave Inferno one last smile before embracing his eternal rest. Vera and Ellena grieve for the fallen rider while Eren looks to Glacious and Inferno. Realising that the Shadow dragon had also passed, Eren felt the need to give some final word to both. "May thine souls return to Mother Gaia and become one once more. May thine beings find peace for the rest of eternity. Amen." Said Eren as a single tear slides down Erens face and out from beneath the helmet. The Kingdom of Feros was saved from a mad necromancer, but at the cost of a Dragon Rider and the Dragon that was the last of his kind.
