Since before written history, a small number of individuals have had a "gift": The ability to tap into the magic of humanity's collective unconscious. It deals with some of the more difficult topics in life. Things like feeling socially isolated in a permanently interconnected world, and the helpless feeling associated with realizing there's not much you can do to help someone you love.
