"Wake up sunshine." - My mate awakens me with a kiss on the forehead.

"Why are you waking me up at 8 in the morning on a Saturday? Do you have a death wish?" - I glared at him from my side of the bed.

"Because you're the one who promised to babysit Elsa's new born baby. Not me." - He rebuked in an amusing tone.

"Yes, because she has a shift today and Jay too. You know, trainee warriors don't get to pick their shifts." - I snapped at him with a raised eyebrow.

"Well, none of the warriors get to pick their shifts except for team leaders and the Delta." - He retorted like he's breaking news to me.

"Regardless, they're my friends and didn't have anyone to leave the baby with." - I explained.

"I'm not complaining, you asked. Now wake up, they're gonna be here any minute now." - He replied, his tone was still amused.

"Is my breakfast ready?" - I asked as I yawn.

"You are allowed to make your own breakfast, you know?" - He snickered.

"Right. Are you refusing your pregnant mate? The person carrying the future Alpha of the Stonehold pack?" - I raised my eyebrows to him in question.

"No, of course not. Your breakfast will be ready forthwith." - He surrendered, brooding.

"That's what I like to hear." - I smirked a victorious grin. And roll my huge 8 months pregnant belly out of the bed. I go to the bathroom while he gets downstairs to cook me breakfast.

Let's just say for the last 6 months he wasn't allowed to refuse his mate much. An by much I mean never. Whatever I wanted, I got it. Be it a foot massage, a back rub or a blow job, I wanted it, I got it. It feels great.

However, whoever thought men could make for good preggers were wrong. This child is havoc on my body. I'm so sleep deprived and he's not even here yet.

Yes, we're having a boy. Because of course we are. Damn patriarchy.

"Good morning, Alpha. Luna." - Elsa greeted us with the bassinet in hand carrying her adorable new baby. She bowed her head to Jack.

"Hi, Elsa. How are you doing? How is Junior?" - I asked her as she enters our house with her 4 months old baby. Jay got her to agree to name him Junior after they were mated. It's a Westbrook family tradition, after all.

"Junior is fine. His mom is struggling to sleep trough the night." - She spoke, sounding tired.

"I feel you. The future Alpha doesn't let me sleep either." - I whined, knowing full well she can relate to this.

She handed me the baby and we kiss goodbye. She got a part time job at the police station through her dad's connections. She didn't want to stay idle at home, plus babies are expensive. And trainee warrior doesn't pay much.

But the rent check must not fail. Ironically, their house is owned by none other than my mate. So is my parents' new home, not that they'd allow Jack to let them live there for free. But Jack offered it to my dad.

I can't falter Elsa for trying to keep her family afloat, it's adulting for you. I'm so blessed to have mated into money, though Luna is a job all on its own. But no complaints here, I do feel blessed.

Sarah doesn't complain either as she is away in college. But even when she returns, the pack house rent is payed with pack money. Perks of being the Beta, who gets to live rent free until another Beta ascends. But it's also why dad could afford to send her to college and still saved enough for his and mom's retirement. And he's barely 40, so he has a long life to live. Both he and mom.

Speaking of my sister, she should be here any minute now since this weekend is her turn to come. She and Tony drive back and forth on the weekends. It's the only way to keep their wolves sated; because of the mate bond, if you stay away from your mate for too long your body starts to suffer from their absence.

Which is probably why most mates go to college together, to avoid such a thing. But that's not an option for her or Anna. She also returns home when Sarah does, they attend the same college. And it's probably way easier to face this with a friend by your side, specially when they can carpool traveling from and to our town.

A few hours later, the baby is fed and sleeping. I would start making lunch but Jack is already on it. Bless him.

I hear the door bell ring and let Sarah and Anna in with a happy smile. Tony is working unfortunately. Beta's schedule is different than the Alpha's. Their responsibilities are not the same.

"I'm so glad you're both here. I got Junior in the nursery if you want to see him." - I told them and they opened the biggest smile.

They both bow their heads to Jack and greet him with a kiss on the cheek.

"My Goddess, I feel like every time I see you, you're bigger. You're fucking huge!" - Sarah was gobsmacked at my large belly.

I laughed at her remark. Anna agreed with her by nodding along.

"Yeah, it's kinda how this works. It grows daily until it explodes." - I snickered, making Jack scowl in the kitchen. We take our seats at the living room.

"Thanks, genius. I know how it works. I'm just saying: are you going to pop this baby up soon or are you waiting for Jesus' birthday?" - Sarah smirked. It's December, so Christmas is right around the corner.

"I'm trying to keep him inside until the 9 months are complete, if that's possible." - I replied, sounding serious. I still worry for the baby's health, so I'm not taking any chances. I'm just glad I got to keep this one inside so far.

"How is college, tell me everything!" - I demanded, cheerfully.

"Jack, can you get me a juice please?" - I asked him from the living room, even though he's busy making lunch in the kitchen. I'm milking this pregnancy for all its worth.

"Sure, Ty. What flavor do you want?" - He replied with a sour mood.

"Strawberry, please." - I said with a cheeky grin and he brings 3 cups of juice for us on a platter, sulking but quietly.

"Do you need any help in the kitchen, Alpha?" - Sarah offered as she took her juice.

"No, Sarah. He got this. He runs a 20 thousand people pack. Lunch is easy for him in comparison." - I downplayed it, making him glare at me.

"No thanks, Sarah. Enjoy your juice. If you need anything, I'll be in the kitchen." - He replied with a smile at her and a glare my way.

"I think this pregnancy shifted the power balance in your relationship." - Anna smirked.

"If you're not taking advantage of the fact that you're carrying the future Alpha, you're doing something wrong." - I snickered, laughing and hearing Jack grunting inside the kitchen.

We spend the better part of an hour catching up and talking about how our lives have changed in less than a year. Anna also told me about the relationship with her mate and her plans for the holiday break. I already knew Sarah's plans as we talk regularly.

The girls admire Junior while I feed him his lunch bottle. By the time he finished his second bottle, I burp him and put him down back in the crib. I guess it's a good thing we have a nursery ready for him to use.

We all eat lunch prepared by my mate. Some time later, they leave the house and I go check on the baby.

Back to the living room, Jack meets me with a kiss and a hug from behind me.

"You're milking this pregnancy so hard you should write a book about it." - He snickered as his breath fanned the nape of my neck, giving me chills.

"Thanks. I probably would if it weren't for the fact that the government would send scientists to find out why a man is pregnant." - I smirked.

I felt something wet in my ass and I'm confused as to why. Did my mate pee on me or something?

"Why is my ass wet? What did you do?" - I asked him baffled, but when I turned around his face was shocked.

His crotch was also wet from the contact with me.

"I think your water just broke." - He muttered, still in shock.

"Oh my Goddess. Let's get changed and go to the hospital." - I suggested, though my tone broke no argument.

Jack looked completely shocked, though at this point this is a given. The baby is coming. I mind linked Sarah to come to our house ASAP to take care of Junior, while we changed clothes.

20 minutes later, we get to the hospital and Lidia welcomed us to the maternity ward. I'm so thankful she had a shift today. At least I have a friendly face. Though, to be fair, at this point I'm pretty well known in this hospital.

I get gowned, Jack too and I'm moved to a room where the doctor welcomes and examines me, but not before bowing his head to Jack. Everyone at the hospital does the same as they meet us.

They asked me questions, I answered them, Jack looks scared out of his mind.

"I need you here with me." - I told him with a squeeze of his hands while the doctor sticks a gloved finger in me where the sun doesn't shine.

"I am, I'm sorry. This is a lot." - Jack replied, gobsmacked.

"What do you think it is for him? Get your head in the game, son!" - Lidia scolded him, who snapped his head to her in a whiplash. He looked guilty at her. But he turned his face to look at me.

"I got you." - He pledged in a serious tone.

There was a lot of shouting, screaming, pain medication, my body was positioned in a way that I can never look at any of the hospital staff in the eyes ever again I'm so ashamed.

Though Lidia didn't even blink at me. None of them did. I guess they're used to seeing people at their most vulnerable. Fortunately for Jack, he was beside me and didn't have to look at the delivery itself. Not that either one of us wanted him to.

Some hours later, I was handled a beautiful baby boy in my arms. I cried my eyes out, but it could be from the pain. It was next to unbearable.

"Oh my Goddess! Look at our son..." - I marveled at him, so in love already with the little creature.

"He's perfect. Absolutely perfect." - Jack was utterly gobsmacked looking at him and his eyes wouldn't stop tearing up.

"Congratulations, Alpha." - Lidia said, looking proud at her nephew.

"Thanks, auntie. And thanks for delivering my son safe and sound. Thanks to all of you." - Jack spoke, looking at the staff still in the room.

The nurses took the baby away for additional exams and I kissed Jack in the cheek.

"I hope you're happy with just one because I'll never go through this much pain ever again." - I smirked, but sounded serious. He giggled at me.

Some time later, we got visited by Sarah and Tony, Jay and Elsa, Anna, Gus, my parents and his grandparents. It's a lot of excitement for one day but totally justifiable. It's not every day a Stonehold is born.

"What is his name?" - Lidia asked me some time later after all the visitors had gone.

I turned to Jack for a moment and then looked at her.

"George. George Stonehold, the future Alpha of the Stonehold pack." - I replied, making Jack ugly cry. I mean, he's bawling. Lidia hugged him.

"Are you sure he's healthy, Lidia?" - I asked her in a concerned tone.

"There're a lot more exams to run. But for now, he looks perfect. Beautiful, like Jack did when he was born" - She replied, making me smile wide with pride.

Anna graduated college, got a B.A. and returned to town to live with her mate. She works now as a teacher at our very high school. Her mate continued as a warrior. Anna had a son 2 years after she returned from college.

Daisy took a job at City Hall (nepotism much?) while Peter worked as a warrior and eventually rose to team leader. Daisy had a baby girl 2 years after she graduated high school. And a boy four years later.

Jay also continued his career as a warrior. He wasn't promoted until his dad retired as Delta. Once he did, the chain reaction that started with the under Delta being promoted lead to him being upped to team leader. Elsa kept working at the police station where she eventually became office manager. She's very well liked over there by everyone.

They had a second child 5 years after she gave birth to Junior.

Sarah graduated college 'magnu cum laude', got a masters in education and returned to work as vice principal at our school. She and Tony had a boy and a girl two years apart from each other.

Jack and Tony continue going strong as Alpha and Beta of the pack. I remain as Luna.

Last but not least, remember when it was said omegas can get struck by heat even after mated?

Well, when my heat strike Jack and I didn't see it coming. What I did see however is me getting pregnant again. Another healthy baby boy. His name is Charles Burke (I demanded my name be last of this one). After that, I figured out how to prepare myself to not get struck by heat again.

At least, to remedy myself of the effects. You can't prevent it from happening as it turns out.

Nevertheless, Jack and I lived with our two boys happily ever after. Not to brag, but our sons are freaking gorgeous.

A|N: Thank you so much for reading this novel. I loved writing and it marked a lot of firsts for me as I pointed out previously. But I'm specially proud as I was able to evolve the story organically.

Fun fact: I didn't plan on ending the story with two gay anthems (Firework / Beautiful), it happened naturally as with everything else in this novel.
