Starlight is pretty excitable; she also seems to be a bit of an empath.
When I say empath here, I don't just mean she has a strong sense of empathy, which Starlight most certainly does; I'm talking about someone with psionic abilities that can tap into the emotions and mind of another entity, some depictions even show these sorts of empaths having the ability to actually manipulate the emotional states of those they tap into to some degree, but even if she does have that potential there's almost no way Starlight will do that, the only time I can see Starlight doing anything like that trying to calm someone who has their emotions running a little too hot down a bit.
