The Adorable You

Chapter 7

Chapter 7

Oct 12, 2022

Lek Phassakorn, Ceo of four famous fashion industries and also known as King.

He was a rare man out of many, and no one dared mess with him. He's a good-looking and intelligent man with a cold exterior.

He had a dark complexion, a muscular body, and a manly appearance.

Every woman wanted him, and every man wanted to be him.

Lek nods while passing a few models to enter the audition room.

Blue stood nearby without getting a chance to see the face of the man everyone was squealing over.

I stood and waited patiently for my sister's turn to audition, and when she did come back out with a huge grin. She told me she passed the audition.

Mew left before I could say anything to her, "wait here, Blue!"

I was left alone. My phone rang, so I found a nice corner away from the noise.

"Son. We're so sorry!" It was Mom on the other end.

The loneliness I felt after being left alone began to pour out of me, and I cried.

Meanwhile, King's Perspective

After the audition, Lek dismissed himself from the other judges.

He entered the elevator where a few models were already boarding and pressed the Lobby button.

When he stepped out of the elevator, he went to the far corner to check out.

It was then that he heard sniffling close by.

He quietly approaches a pillar and peeks around to see a boy sitting alone.

Because he didn't want to bother him, Lek stayed hidden

He witnessed the boy being emotional on the phone.

Lek crossed his arms and leaned his back against the pillar. He heard everything and couldn't ignore it.

It was rude of him to step out while the boy was crying, so he waited.

When the boy finally started to calm down, Lek searched his pockets for something. He then found a small designer handkerchief in his left chest pocket.

There was no one around to draw attention to himself, so he slowly approached the boy.

He held his hand in front of the boy's face, "here."

The boy turned to look in Lek's direction and gratefully received the handkerchief.

Lek drew in a breath upon witnessing the boy's tearful expression.

Budump!

Budump!

His heart was racing while staring into those pretty blue eyes.

What is this feeling?

It was the first time in his adult life he felt this way. All he could think was, "Wow! He's beautiful!"

Blue's Perspective

I accepted the handkerchief given to me. The man who offered it sat beside me and waited.

I thanked him and tried to return his belonging, but he let me keep what he gave me.

"Why are you crying?" He looked genuinely curious.

I debated whether or not I should tell this stranger about the lonely day I had.

I shrugged since it would be better to have some company.

"Today's my birthday, but my family became too busy to celebrate it." I couldn't help but pour my heart out to him.

I went into detail about the kind of day I had. He listened to me without any complaints.

After a while of telling him about my day, I didn't expect the next thing that came out of his mouth.

"Since it's your birthday, how about I take you out?"

He looked serious.

I didn't think it was a good idea, so I turned him down and thanked him for listening to me.

"It was my pleasure." The man smiles slightly before standing and straightening the suit he wore.

I enjoyed my time with a man I didn't know, "mine as well."

"I apologize for taking up your time." I looked up at him and smiled.

The man shook his head, "no problem, since I didn't have anything to do afterward."

The man got a phone call and had to return somewhere.

Ah, I forgot to give back the handkerchief.

I stood to follow the man but didn't get the chance because of Mew.

Unfortunately, she couldn't keep her promise to buy me ice cream and cake.

We returned home, and Mew had to leave for a photoshoot.

I was left alone with no one to celebrate my birthday with me.

I climbed onto my bed decorated with sunflower blankets and pulled a few stuffed toys into my lap.

Still, I peered at the handkerchief and smiled; I wasn't alone for that split second.

It's a shame that I didn't get his name.

Lek's Perspective

A woman with red hair tied in a ponytail entered Lek's office holding a folder in her hands.

She was his secretary and best friend, Kelpie.

Lek received the folder and opened it to view the files.

"Are you sure this is all the information that I asked for?" Lek was flipping through the papers.

He hovered over a specific piece of paper and pulled it out in front of the others.

Kelpie sat on the edge of his desk, "I'm positive. You don't know the things I went through to get you that file."

Satisfied, Lek sat the files in his hand on his desk and leaned back into his chair, "I appreciate your hard work."

Kelpie gave him a questioning gaze, "by the way, Boss. Why did you request a background check for this specific person?"

"I have my reasons." He didn't want to admit that he was desperate to find that person.

Kelpie leaned towards him with sparkling eyes, "please elaborate!"

He shoos her off his desk, "you don't need to know. Besides, don't you have work to do?"

Kelpie turned up her nose at him, "stingy."

"Go to work."

Kelpie stood and headed to his door. Lek remembered something and called out to her, "return later to take a list to go shopping."

She raises a hand at him and leaves his office.

He picked up the file from earlier and gazed upon it. A close-up view shows a picture of the boy he met.

"Badin Chaicharoen, it doesn't suit him at all."

It took him some time to find him. After learning that he was somehow related to one of the passing models, Lek had to find out who.

After hours of searching, he finally stumbled upon a semi-famous rookie model named Mew.

From there, he managed to connect the two and learned that they were siblings.

"I hope you like the gifts I send."

Badin Chaicharoen, A.K.A Blue because of his baby blue eyes, was known as cute or adorable ever since he could remember. He eventually adapted to being treated as a child and grew to love cute things, despite already being eighteen. One day he's dragged to his sister's modeling audition, where he met the famous and good-looking older man, King (Lek Phassakorn).
King is rather smitten with the adorable Blue instantly and pursues the child-like young man. Will he succeed in making Blue his or will there be many obstacles in his way?
