Ratchet said nothing until they were on the ship and took off. The first thing Ratchet said was, "You're the history bot Prime, ever heard of the Allspark?"

"Yes," Optimus answered, "It's the most powerful energy source in the universe, it gave the spark of life to all Cybertronians."

"Here's another one," said Ratchet, "the only way we were able to win the great Wars all those stellar cycles ago was by keeping the Allspark out of Decepticon servos. So it was sent through a space bridge hidden in some the far-flung corner of the galaxy where no one would ever find it."

"So you're saying we found the Allspark?" Bumblebee questioned, "the real Allspark?!"

"No," Ratchet corrected. "I'm saying it found us."

"Unfortunately, it's not the only thing that found us", Prowl said.

They rushed to the cockpit. Optimus commanded Bulkhead to contact Cybertron Command Headquarters for backup. As usual, Sentinel stalks the comlink to immediately jump to dump on Optimus, for Optimus doesn't have time and demands to be put through to Ultra Magnus.

Sentinel was quick to get back on, "Now how could a third-rate rock buster merit the Autobot Supreme Commander's attention?" for which it took seeing the visual of what was in the cargo hold to shut up and immediately put Ultra Magnus on the line.

Ultra Magnus announced himself along with the belief that they shouldn't be so concerned since it was likely a lost scout ship. The commander mentioned he will still send out a strike force, sit tight as well as tell Optimus to "not be a hero, it's not in his programming."

The spacecraft was still following them and is closing on fast as Prowl declared.

That was when Optimus decided they needed to have a change in plans and go to the nearest space bridge despite Ultra Magus's order, regardless of what got in their way. Unfortunately, what got in their way is what they can't blast through. All of them were in awe and horror at the dark purple, jagged, gigantic scaled spacecraft. Optimus Identified the ship by its description to be a command ship known as the Nemesis, which means the mech that brings terror to Autobots, Megatron, is on there.

On the Nemesis, Starscream displayed his doubt in Megatron and for the Allspark to be on a repair vessel which upset the proudly loyal Lug who heavily praised their lord. Lugnut was interrupted by my Blackarachnia who after completing a little bit of his narrative then insulted him for having a simple-minded processor. Black Arachnia received a freeze to one of her servos by Blitzwing for her "cold demeanor," for which she told him to "blow it out your actuator three-face." This made Blitwing alternate to his 'Hothead' personality, threatening her before mocking her in his 'Random Nutcase' mode. All of Megatron's officers continued their quarrel until the door opened, immediately they went silent and stood for attention as their authority marched into the combat information center.

"Starscream, report," Megatron said.

"Readings are off the scale my liege," said Starscream, "shall I fire on the Autobots?"

"Cripple their ship but do not destroy the ship, yet," Megatron responded.

"Yes, yes, brilliant strategy oh wise and glorious leader," Starscream sucked up before he direct the ship's weapons toward their target.

"Teletran 1, evasive maneuvers!" Optimus commanded the moment he saw they were going to get fired upon. He then demanded, "defense mechanism activated, codename Omega."

No response. 'Scrap, of all things to forget, Omega Supreme is a mobile corpse, he hasn't been online for millions of years. His weapons were disabled when he was put in maintenance service. Slag it all.' Optimus thought.

Teletran 1: Warning, asteroid field ahead. Initiating an alternate route.

"NO, OVERRIDE!" Optimus exclaimed.

They went through the asteroid field to try to lose them but they blasted whatever is in their way.

"I got a reading," Black Arachnia said, "If it's not the Allspark. It is just as powerful.

Starscream volunteered to breach the maintenance vessel. Megatron saw Starscream's ambitions all too clearly and pointedly remarked that he wasn't about to let four million solar cycles of searching for the AllSpark end just to let Starscream "lay his greasy wings on it". He gripped Starscream's wing hard rendering their stability and brought long of his admiral close and told them he intend to harness its power into the ultimate weapon and crush the Autobots for good before roughly letting Starscream go.

"What do you want now Starscream?"

"Only to wish you luck my liege," his commander said, disguising his intent as a pat on the back.

"I don't believe in luck," Megatron responded before he transformed to his alt-mode and left.

"Neither do I," said Starscream, anticipating the fate of his master around the time he reaches the Autobot's vessel.

Optimus initially thought that a strike force was going ahead of the command ship but once this entity showed one's mighty bipedal form when close he couldn't help but question, "is that Megatron?"

"You never said he was so big," said Bulkhead.

"You never say he could fly," said Bumblebee.

It was quiet for the moment Megatron was out of their ship's front window. *Thud* follow by Megatron's fusion cannon weakening the barrier from the furious warrior and them as well as the prize he desired to possess. Optimus ordered Ratchet to seal the hole breach, Prowl to keep the ship steady, and Bulkhead and Bumblebee to protect the Allspark while he handled Megatron. Ratchet grabbed Bumblebee to quickly upgrade his stingers to combat mode since they'll likely need all the help they could get. On their way to the cargo hold, Bumblee had an idea when they near the door that held their Energon supply.

Megatron blasted one of the claws coming towards him as he pull out his sword to try to slice several of the others into pieces. Maneuvers similar to what Megatron used in matches as a gladiator at illegally run coliseums in Kaon for which Optimus was familiar with recordings in the library and especially when he was in the Autobot Academy fighting simulations of the ferocious warrior. Luckily Megatron's motion was limited as he magnetized himself to the ship to not fall off as he tried to melt his way in. Optimus kind of wishes he allowed gamer Bumblebee for a while as he tried to immobilize him. When Optimus appears to nearly be successful, the device that Starscream planted on Megatron overloaded and exploded much to his traitorous admiral's joy. A joy Starscream then repeatedly told himself to conceal prior to joining the others.

The sound made the two youngest bots worried about their colleagues.

Teletran 1: Warning, wall breach. Initiating Alpha, Omega, and Ebselen.

The ship sealed its damage and reduce heat around the area of damage.

Teletran 1: Warning, involuntary impact imminent.

"Go to manual override," Optimus ordered intending to prevent the crash for which Prowl questioned his capability to do so. Optimus managed to do it successfully and was heading to the space bridge so they could head back to Cybertron of the nearest Autobot base. The Allspark had other ideas its power activating the space bridge in a manner that dragged them in before destroying the space bridge in a ball of light. Said light eventually expanded to the point it eventually swallowed the Nemesis from which everyone but Starscream escaped.

"Is everyone alright? Bulkhead, Bumblebee report" Optimus asked before he was grabbed from behind by Megatron they pinned him demanding where the Allspark is. Prowl and Ratchet try to pull him off but to no avail, even with an arm blown off, they were no match in strength and power as he pinned Prowl under his weight.

Megatron slammed Optimus again. He turned off the gravity but it didn't work as Megatron was still able to clip himself onto the floor as well as still has his foot on Prowl. He slammed Optimus again then used one of his thrusters which still works and is located on his leg to burn the ninja bot warning the little team leader that he was growing impatient. Megatron then received an oil can that was laced with some Energon which exploded from contact with an electric blast. That threw the former gladiator off balance, get off of Prowl and let go of Prime. Megatron floated near the window and clipped himself there to make it a bad idea to try that tactic again unless the young bot want to risk him and his crewmates getting sucked into the vacuum of space. Bulkhead accidentally bumped into Bumblebee floating toward Megatron who was ready to slay the young bot. Ratchet caught him and sent him as far proximity as he could from danger. Prowl used a projection of himself to distract Megatron while he cut off what is left of the remains of the Decepticon's left arm untethering him and giving Ratchet some metal to slam into Megaton. Megatron hit the control panels which turned back on the artificial gravity and sped the ship towards Earth.

Optimus sled to the cargo hold. Megatron tried to swing the sword down on him which Optimus blocked. Megatron's intent to finish off the young leader was dissipated when he noticed a glow coming from around the stasis chamber. He was in awe of what he was in search for for 4 million stellar cycles for which Optimus took advantage of expanding the length of his ax's hilt to activate the docking tunnel. They were sucked from the room they were in.

Optimus managed to plunge his ax into the ship's bridge doc. Unfortunately, Megatron managed to grab hold of his leg. Optimus tried to kick him off but Megatron's servos were too large and his grip was too strong.

"Bossbot," Bumblebee yelled holding onto the edge of the door, "Ratchet is coming, we'll pull you back."

"Thank you for trying to be there for me but please, try to take care of each other. I'm sorry," Optimus said before he let go and fell with the leader of the Decepticons, burning in the stratosphere, his life flashing towards his eyes, and a little desire left to live before making hard contact with the Earth.
