Morkana's reforms have put an end to an era of military imperialism, but soldiers are still needed to maintain the peace, especially at the frontier worlds. These worlds are away from the territory of many interstellar civilizations and while some people of the frontier have found freedom, others are oppressed by wannabe kings, corrupt business men, slavers, pirates and some evil necromancers.
Flamewing and Morkana, the protagonists of Mork, face the greatest challenge of their lives: being the parents of three kids. Prince is introverted and adventurous, Helen is kindhearted and very imaginative and Baby Mordread is chaotic and attacks her father constantly. Can the hero and the empress raise properly these kids in a nobledark science fiction fantasy setting?
