They say that for humans, there are three important days, the day you are born, the day you find out why, and the day you get married, and for Yongrae the third one was today. He wore his suit and kept looking at himself in his rooms’ mirror. Chuncha was waiting outside his room to see him dressed for the first time until he called her in.

“You look so cool young man!”- said Chuncha, satisfied with what she saw, “Just let me fix your hair…”

She went closer to him and fixed his hair, then his tie, and looked at him again.

“Done!”- she said, “You look like someone who is getting married now!”

“Come one mom…”- replied Yongrae, annoyed.

Downstairs was Oliver and Lucas, waiting for them to come down so they could leave.

“Come one guys, we need to go there first!”- shouted Oliver.

“We’re coming!”- replied Chuncha from Yongrae’s room.

They got out and went down to the living room. Lucas saw Yongrae and went to congratulate him for his looks. Oliver stayed there and did not react.

“Is there something you want to say to Yongrae?”- Chuncha asked Oliver.

“You look good in the suit!”- said Oliver to Yongrae embarrassed, “You clearly got that from me!”

“Come on, not today!”- said Chuncha, annoyed at him while slapping him on his arm.

“Thanks, father!”- replied Yongrae with a sad tone of voice.

After this little chat, they went out, got in the car, and left. They arrived at the church and entered in.

“Me and Chuncha will stay here to wait for the guests,”- said Oliver to Yongrae and Lucas, “You two go ahead.”

Yongrae and Lucas went towards the bridegroom’s room to wait for the moment they would go out. On the way there, they encountered Yujun and greeted him.

“You look fantastic in this suit!”- said Yujun to Yongrae, “A true gentleman!”

“Thanks, sir… I mean father!”- replied Yongrae nervously.

“You look nervous, Yongrae.”- said Yujun, “Just try to relax and don’t think too much…”

“I mean, just to say thank you to the people and repeat what the priest will tell you and you should be fine.”- he continued, trying to help Yongrae calm down.

“Thanks, father!”- replied Yongrae with a sad tone of voice, “I’ll keep that in mind.”

“Go to the bridegroom’s room now.”- said Yujun to them, “I will go greet the guests with Oliver.”

Yongrae and Lucas parted ways with Yujun and went inside.

“What a great guy he is!”- said Lucas to Yongrae, “You got lucky with a father-in-law like him.”

“Miss Jee is a bit scary but I’m sure she doesn’t mean any harm…”- continued him.

“I know…”- replied Yongrae. In the meantime, Yujun went towards Oliver and Chuncha.

“How are my precious in-laws today?”- he said while smiling. They greeted each other and took a position at the entrance where they would greet the guests.

“We will become a family today!”- said Yujun to Oliver.

“Finally my friend!”- replied Oliver to him with happiness.

The guests started coming and they greeted them one by one. Everyone kept asking about Yongrae and Sunjung, they wanted to see them and take photos with them as is tradition.

“After the wedding!”- Oliver kept telling them. After a while, the guests stopped coming. According to the list, everyone invited came. The doorman talked with Yujun and started closing the door.

“Wait, one family member is missing!”- said Chuncha, “Let me go out and see if they are coming.”

Yujun looked at Oliver and nodded at him. Oliver went after Chuncha while Yujun got back inside.

Chuncha went out and started looking around. In her face, you could clearly see sadness and disappointment. Oliver walked toward her and watched her look around from the entrance of the church.

“You know they won’t show up no matter how much you wait, right?”- said Oliver.

“I know I just hoped for a miracle!”- replied Chuncha disappointed, “Like when Yongrae accepted to marry Sunjung…”

“Let’s go inside now, the ceremony is about to start.”- said Oliver to her after patting her back.
