I’d be willing to bet that Tolkien would not be as good a read if he had written ‘The Hobbit’ in today’s politically correct sensitive environment. I can’t wait to see the final film, and marvel as the rough and tumble band of little people help the city of Laketown slay the dragon – or should I call him the “Herpetological Fire Technician”…
