Lax moved around the city and visited a lot of places. There were places with aquariums with different species of sea creatures he has never seen before, a giant statue of a guy called the First Sea King can be seen in the center of the city, and lots of other stuff. Lax was having so much fun that he almost forgot why he came into this world.

He remembered what he had to do when he heard people talking about the main Sea King City recruiting people to participate in the fight against the Leviathan.

They said that the Sea King City was currently preparing to attack the Leviathan before it caused harm to the public, so many people joined the fight as they would also get rewards for participating.

The Leviathan was a sea monster twice the size of a blue whale with the power to control water. It is an alpha-class monster with many sea monsters under its rule, so when the fight happens, it will cause a lot of casualties as many people will die fighting it and its subordinates.

There are many different kinds of sea creatures under its rule, and one of them is even a humanoid sea monster called Siyokoy. They are said to have webbed hands and feet, the head of a fish, and a green, scaly human body. Just looking at them, you'll know that they are monsters.

Not only can the Siyokoys fight and have enormous physical strength, but they can also swim very fast, and most of the time they drag humans under water.

After they finished their talk, Lax went to them and asked.

"Good morning. May I ask you something?"

"Who are you?"

"Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. Let me start by saying my name. I am Axiel, and I am a mercenary." Lax introduced himself to the people who were talking.

"So you heard us. Are you planning to participate in the fight against the Leviathan?" One of them questioned.

"Yes, I'm currently finding a ship that will take me to Sea King City, do you know of any?"

"You can find it on the other side of the city. There is a dock there where you can ride a ship to Sea King City, but it will cost you though."

"Thank you very much." Lax thanked the two and headed to the other side of the city.

Lax arrived at the dock, and he could see two ships, one leading to another island and the other heading to Sea King City.

He boarded the ship on the right, and of course he didn't pay as he snuck in using [Conceal].

Once again, Lax enjoyed the ride along the way to Sea King City.

After arriving at Sea King City, Lax sneaked in again past the guards, but he had to be careful as the guards were much stronger than the ones once located at the branch city.

Lax moved along the city toward the center, where the palace of the Sea King was located. He estimated that the city was 10 times larger than the branches, according to how far the city gates are from the center.

He looked around for a few minutes until he found a crowded place where there were people recruiting mercenaries to participate in the fight.

After half an hour of waiting, it was finally Lax's turn.

"Name, Occupation, and Rank." The man responsible for listing people said.

"Axiel, Mercenary, Rank 2 - Low Level." Lax replied to the man's words.

"Go there in front of the palace and find yourself a spot with the people there and wait because we will be departing an hour later." The man pointed at the front yard of the large palace that can easily fit more than 3,000 people.

Lax moved to the place where the man pointed and waited there for an hour, not bothering to talk with people around as he was too introverted to do so and he doesn't like small talks.

After an hour of waiting, a man wearing blue full-suit armor and holding a spear arrived, and more than 2,000 people wearing blue armor also arrived at the scene. They positioned themselves in front of the thousand mercenaries, a battalion on each side with the mercenaries in the middle.

"I am Oceanus Nepsedon, the 17th Sea King of Sea King City. I thank you all brave souls for coming here to fight against the Leaviathan." The Sea King spoke in a proud voice.

"For all that are here, do not be afraid to fight, as I will lead the front, and I won't forget to reward you all according to your contribution."

"So everyone, let us depart!"

"WOAHHHHH!!!" The king's army shouted and the mercenary too shouted along with them as they followed the Sea King moving towards the sea.

"It seems that the Sea King is very popular, people here are looking at him with respect and most of them are not even afraid. No wonder, after all the Sea King is very strong." Lax concluded as he watched the eyes of the people looking at the Sea King.
