Fun fact! Stars can't be magenta, pink or purple because that would require light to mix. Those colours aren't part of the visible light spectrum, and require multiple wavelengths to exist. For example, for you to see magenta your red and blue cone cells would need to be activated 100% each with 0% green. Green and magenta are complementary colours.
