The view that I was met with upon turning my head and looking towards Rein’s perspective made my blood run cold and freeze in place, heaving hard trying to breathe calmly.
[What’s wrong? I feel a heavy wave of emotion flooding from you…]
‘I… I’m going to kill these bitches, I’m going to put an end to this silly charade.’ My mind went blank and the last string of sanity snapped in an instant.
I could not hear the Chimera trying to reason with me, every sound felt like a wave of inaudible echoing near my heart that was now festering with pure hatred for the director and every other adult in this facility.
I got myself up from the bed and walked towards the window, I opened it not caring if it was loud or if anyone awoke from the sudden gushing of breeze.
“Vee? Where are you going” spoke out Tella her innocent voice made my already complicated emotions rise even higher and spill over the edge of my heart.
“I’m going to put an end to this facade, I’m going to return all of you back to your homes, to your families who are desperately searching for you. Stay in this room no matter what anyone says, okay? And if anyone else wakes up make sure they don’t leave either.” I spoke climbing out of the window in the potato sack pyjamas.
“Okay, you’ll come back right?” I took off running in the direction that the carriages were headed in without giving her an answer.
‘I dislike false hope more than pure lies, at least if you lie I can cut off your limbs or pierce your heart but in telling a false hope, its purpose was me and not their own selfish needs…’ I thought back to every time I was let down.

It felt like I had been running for miles, there seemed to be no end to where the carriages were going, through the forest foliages that would occasionally slap me across the face.
Finally, it came to a halt in front of a rusty old gate. When I snuck into the gates after the children were ushered in I was met with a run-down building covered with vines and cobwebs in every crack, anyone could tell that this place was nothing but a deathtrap.
‘What the fuck is this? A cathedral? For what? For all I know people do not live here except for the children in the orphanage so what could this cathedral be here for?’
[Vee? Vee? Can you hear me? Vee?] The Chimera, Rein and Reuben’s voices all took turns to try and communicate with me.
‘Yes, I can hear you, what’s wrong?’
[Vee! Why didn’t you answer us? We thought something bad happened to you.]
[I already told you she was probably fine, why don’t you ever listen to me?]
[Being alive doesn’t mean she’s fine, that’s all we knew about her for the past hour… How are you not more worried?] Reuben spoke out.
[That’s because I’m not a worry wart like you Reuben.] Rein refuted.
‘I’m fine. You two won’t hear anything from me for a while nor will you see anything, not to worry I will let you two out soon enough.’ I spoke and with that, I blocked both of them from connecting me.
[‘Rustle’ Ughh, Master, are you really okay?] The Chimera’s voice broke out from the random muted rustling.
‘Yh I’m just fine, I was running so I must’ve spaced out. Cut off the connection between the twins and their dolls, It’s going to get bloody and they don't need to see all that.’ I spoke calmly.
[Master, perhaps there would be another way? Do you have to get blood on your hands?] The Chimera asked in a low tone.
‘I realised that not everything can be solved in peace just like how everything can’t be solved with violence, these people will never change. If they are so willing to feed Rein a monster core there’s no telling what they’ll do next. There is no redemption for those who are already in hell. Protect the children at the orphanage for me, I will be right back.’ I spoke and I could almost make out the Chimera simply bowing his head and doing as he was asked.
I scanned the perimeter of the chapel while still looking from the Rein doll's point of view, he had also been loaded in a wagon of some sort and he was brought to the chapel too. I sat inside the bushes as I watched eagerly waiting for an opportunity to attack.
The Director burst in through the Chapel doors and the vision I was met with was a bunch of people dressed in black robes and a thick fog of dark magic, the fog was strong enough to make all the children pass out as their bodies could not handle the dark magic that surrounded them.
“Dear Patrons I apologise for my tardiness, the sudden full moon took me by surprise.” The director said while carrying Rein’s doll into the chapel and placing him on the altar, unlike the rest of the children.
“No worries we were surprised too, it’s fine as long as we can carry out the sacrifice on a full moon, no one said anything about it needing to be a rising full moon, am I right.” Spoke a man who was at the bottom of the stairs near the altar.
“Of course not dear sir, I shall start the ritual now.” She nodded toward the corner and a woman came forward, it took me a while to recognise her, it was Miss Dandy in a whole different outfit that I’d never seen before.
She handed the director the ancient artifact from before and the director stood behind the altar and started chanting in the same ancient language as before.
"rfiz vf rfiz vf, gaz k orf ajf bra bazprksp fwkn rip qalf bkor ij aggfzkjs ag orf smzfpo gazl, rmlij piqzkgkqf."
Unlike last time I could now understand what the director was saying without the need for the Chimera to translate for me. ‘Hear ye hear ye, for I the one who worships evil has come with an offering of the purest form, human sacrifice.’ She chanted over and over again, after about the 15th chant an ominous voice that sent chills down my spine spoke out in annoyance.
“Piss off, how many times do we have to tell you we don't want human sacrifices? We aren't what you think we are, if you wish to worship evil go somewhere else.” It spoke out in the same ancient language. At its words, the director started chanting the same thing again which made whoever was on the other end very angry.
“Stop! Stop! Stop! What is it that you want? Truly what could possibly warrant a human being to become so disgustingly evil that you think killing innocent children would make a good sacrifice?” The voice was now echoing in the chapel. As if the director and the nobles couldn’t hear his voice they started moving while the voice extensively told them to stop.
The chapel was once again filled to the brim with dark magic as the robed people started picking up one child at a time and placing them with their heads over a big basin in the middle of the chapel.
“No! Stop, what you are doing is foolish, the only thing you will achieve through this is the downfall of the human world. God damn it these idiot’s never listen. Fuck this what’s the damn point.” The voice stopped speaking and one could assume he had now cut whatever connection he had gained from the directors chanting.
The robed nobles all took off their robes now revealing the same outfit as the one Miss Dandy was wearing, they grabbed daggers from the back of the belt they were all wearing and started chanting again.
Every fibre in my body started yelling at me to go into the chapel and stop whatever action was about to commence. I got up from the position I was in and charged through the doors.
“Who dares disturb the sacred ritual?” the director spoke out once she heard me kick in the door.
“Sacred? You seem to not understand what the word sacred means, if what you're doing is sacred then I must be ready to fulfil God's holy prophecies.”
I said while snapping my left finger and pointing forwards to where all the nobles were standing and saying, “Paralysis.”
“It’s you! I knew you were trouble, you really think you can save anyone with your little self. Your magic isn’t going to work on me!” The director picked up the ancient staff and proceeded to chant a spell.
“Oh great magical artifact I plead thee to lend me your strength to defeat my foes and wipe away my woes.”
Dark magic shot out of the ancient artifact and darted in my direction just as it was about to touch me. The artifact shot out a blinding white light and sent a shockwave throughout the entire chapel.
