“Vermin… funny how the trash talks don't you think?” I chuckled and looked up towards the man that turned me into a monster for the sake of his master.

‘Strange… I was always alone and cold but why do I feel a warm hand shaking me?’ A bright light assaulted my eyes, something that would not happen if it were not a dream. I closed my eyes not hoping for a miracle but when I opened them again, I was surrounded by nothing but warmth.

“I’m alright…” I spoke those two words slipping past my lips, habitually.
