“No?” Lie, I overdosed on Tylenol multiple times. Oh yeah, and I drank vodka at my friends’ party. I don’t feel bad for lying to him though.
“Okay.” He says looking down at his clipboard checking something off.
This goes on for a while of questions and seeing a bunch of different people. After all the questions they did a body check to look at all my scars.
Finally, after all the check-in stuff they brought me to my room. They opened a vault under my bed and put everything I couldn’t have underneath. I looked over and saw my roommate.
“Hi, I’m Jayla.” She looks over at me as she says this. I blank out.
“I’m Li- RAE! My name is Rae.” I say struggling. My face gets hot after I realize I fucked up. Jayla looks at me confused then looks away silent. I start to unpack my bag.
Suddenly, Jayla gets up and leaves.
3:27 a.m. I look down, Nanny came back with a sparkling yellow potion.
“Drink this.” She spoke. I drank it without thinking twice about it. This is when I became cursed.
Life is horrible. Why do I have to keep doing this? I just want to go to fucking hell at this point.
Why did I go to hell you ask? I guess I’ll explain.
After I had run away my mother called the police. I left my Nanny’s home hours before. And ran for my life. Unfortunately, the police had found me, and I had been sent to the mental facility just like now. From this point my life turned to darkness and deceitfulness. Time passed in my life as Lilly. I became hostile and angry at everything. I felt as if life wasn’t worth it anymore. I was empty and shaken. I was so unsettled I got into dangerous situations where I became so depressed, I started taken dangerous drugs.
I remember the first night I took meth. It changed my whole life. Life tumbled down from then to a rapidly quick rate. I gave up trying.
My boyfriend kept raping me and it got so bad that I ended my life. I finally killed myself after trying so hard. My past life went from beautiful to fucked up. I drank, did drugs, stole, and wanted to kill people continuously.
Hell. The breath of hell burst into my soul as I ascended into Satan’s’ arms. A horrid burning sensation I had never felt before burned throughout my entire body. It wouldn’t stop until a bursting light showed in front of my eyes. It rapidly sucked me in, and I watched Satan’s eyes back at me.
“Lilly?!” A voice says.
“WHAT?!” I spark up.
A girl across the hall looks at me confused.
“Weirdo.” She says looking me in the eyes. As the nurse notions to her to stop.
I was so deep into thought I thought that someone somehow recognized me from my past life.
Who would my aunt come back as? I know she did come back I feel it.
I ponder in thought for a while thinking of who she could be.
I have no idea. I must find someone who acts similar. Wait. Would she even remember her past life like me? She could be anywhere in the world. Is she still in her last life?
I start to question everything and everyone at this point in my life.
“She’s gone!” I realize I had started a meditative phase. I heard a voice.
I see the mother of Lilly. I look down and see two glass-like hands.
“What do we do?!” My last mother exclaims clearly in tears.
I’m in my house again. Lilly’s house.
Am I… a ghost?!
I am currently in the living space of my old home in my past life. There is a police officer and my mother sitting on the couch.
I can’t watch this…
I head for the front door. I go through. Then I am pulled to my nanny’s living space.
But… What happened? I wanted to leave.
Nanny looks up. Not directly at me but looks around looking faintly frightened. She heads into another room and grabs headphones connected to a radio.
“Wait!” I speak.
It’s Estes method. Nanny taught me of that. She knows I’m here!
I look down at her sitting on the couch as she looks around. She places it down and goes into another room. Someone I have never seen before walks in.
He puts on the headphones and presses a button on the radio.
“NANNY!!”
He repeats what I said saying it was incredibly loud. My nanny lights up when he says this.
“Sorry…” I say quietly.
“It said something, but it was very quiet.” He speaks.
“Is this Lilly?” Nanny says in clear excitement.
“Yes, and I don’t have much time here.” I say quick to answer.
