So on a positive note, Meredith managed to do magic without Djali here at all, but unfortunately, it is in the direction and presence of a police officer. Meredith has a tendency to get spicy and it does her no favors when really she should just shut up. Like, of the rules she was supposed to follow to stay under the radar, leaving the police well and out of it was kind of number 1.
But we're starting to see a little of why she hates authority and police in particular. and PS, since this comic is getting more heavy as we go, this being on WT means I won't be showing anything that is mature or labelled as such here on Tapas since using the Mature tag does hurt me a lot in search-ability and promotion.
But, if I ever show domestic violence I'll put a little note of warning above the episode. When she's just suggesting it like she does here, I generally don't, since this is late into the series and we've known about that theme since Episode 1. But if it ever veers into territory where you wish for a TW/CW, just let me know in the comments and I can add them in post.
When a human falls into a cryptic world of monsters, she marries a local shapeshifter that very same day. She is trying to find her way back home in one piece. But who is this man who so quickly came to her rescue? What is under all of his shifting layers?
The world of chiaroscuro is full of mysteries, from the graveyard from out of time, the grave keeper who found a human in a spot no human has walked in 400 years, to the ghosts that haunt their dreams.
This is a mysterious fantasy/romance/isekai about deciphering lost histories, fallen hearts, and forgotten recipes.
