👉👌Luke's POV👌👈
This has started to become a regular occurrence. Me feeling utterly confused. It was frustrating to feel so powerless and it was amplified by how many times it happened.
So after the little outing that happened, I took some time before bed to just think.
I hadn't realized how little I really just sat down and thought and it was the most productive I have been in a while.
I laid out my main concern and main problem in the forefront of my mind and decided between my main options.
And with that I went to sleep and slept like a freaking baby.

Like usual my friends Layla and Aubrey were gathered under our morning tree and as of recent days Sean joined them.
The first few days this happened the rest of us incredibly kind friends teased him relentlessly over it but after a week it was no longer new and we had to embrace it as normal.
I walk up to the group and without any introduction I simply tell them.
"I'm asking out Conner today."
That seemed to have completely shocked them but even the quick one Sean replied.
"Sorry to break it to ya, but I think he already beat you to it," Sean sassed jokingly, tilting his head and sounding slightly bored. Of course he was anything but at this point and like Layla and Aubrey, he wanted answers.
I scoff, shaking my head at his little joke.
"No, not that Sean. He asked me to be his boyfriend, not go on a date with him and after whatever the heck happened on the train I know he will be hesitant to actually ask me out," I explained. "He might even just ignore me so I won't break up with him, I know him well enough now to get that so I'm going to take the initiative. I'm going to be the dominant and ask him out."
The moment the woods left my mouth I knew I was going to hear the snorts coming out of my friends but I said it already and all I could do was deal with the backlash.
"The dominant?" Layla asked hesitatingly, barely keeping her laughing from being heard by China. "Are you sure that applies to you Luke?"
I rolled my eyes and ignored my friends as they fell over each other, laughing hysterically.
"Just help me get him alone when lunch comes alright?" I ordered the still laughing group and sucked next to them until Hunter showed up.
Then I had to defend myself when they explained why they were laughing. Extremely upset since they added a lot more "I can be manly's" and made my voice twenty pitches higher in their retelling.
And once again I stood next to them as they fell over each other laughing, waiting for the bell to ring.
—————
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Layla asked worriedly once we met up in the hall on our way to lunch. "You don't even know what he was about to tell you. It could be something that you will never forgive him for."
I stopped walking just to give Layla a look.
"So you think what he's going to tell me will make me so upset I won't want to be with him anymore," I stated, rolling my eyes in annoyance. "If it was that big of a deal you would've told me already."
That didn't make Layla happy and as her cheeks puffed up in anger I just ignored her, walking away.
She was quite pissed by the time she caught up to me.
"I can't tell you anything concerning this, you know that Luke," she said, succeeding in getting me guilty. "If I could, you would've known ages ago."
I sighed.
I looked towards Layla again and she still looked slightly put off until she saw my expression.
And just like that she lost all of her fight too.
"You really care about him huh?" she asked me completely in a whisper.
I nodded my head and looked ahead sadly.
"Yeah I do," I confessed. I wallowed in my self pity for a moment longer before standing up tall and sharpening my resolve once again. "I don't know how bad this secret is but I want to love Conner. And love means you love someone even if they are completely shitty. It's loving them, not loving their good qualities. And if I find out that I am not a good enough person to love Conner, despite all of his bad, then I want to enjoy his good for as long as I can."
Layla and I looked at each other and I realized that we were both grinning from ear to ear.
We made our way into the cafeteria and with that speech still replaying in my mind I walked up to Conner.
"Can I have a minute with you?"

🔥Conner's POV🔥
I was extremely tense when Luke asked me for a moment alone.
I just knew that it had to do with the thing I was hiding with him and I hadn't yet prepared myself to tell him.
But now he seemed to have been fed up with waiting so I couldn't stall any longer.
I nodded, standing up and watching his delicious ass as he led me out of the cafeteria.
Eventually he got to a secluded spot just around a corner in an empty hall.
"I'm sorry Luke, I should've told you sooner but I was just really scared it would be a deal breaker and I love spending time with you but I guess I just have to say it." I sucked in a deep breath in preparation for the explosion Luke would give me. "I-"
"Stop!" He yelled, his hands coming over my mouth to stop me from saying anything more. "I don't want to hear it."
I was stunned.
Why would he not want to hear this?
This was an incredibly serious thing and he wanted to just be totally ignorant about it?
"I mean I want to hear it eventually but right now I don't want the stress," he explained exhaustedly, his hands still covering my mouth. "You just asked me out! I have been eyeing you forever and now that I can finally have you you want to tell me this huge secret that might ruin that carefree lovey-dovey ness every highschool couple should get. I am not about to lose a light hearted adorable date with you Conner. Whatever this huge, earth shattering secret you want to tell me is, I want to find out about it after we've had our first date."
Luke slowly removed his hands from my mouth and gave me a nervous smile.
"Alright?"
I didn't even reply, diving down onto his mouth before he could say anything else.
He moaned against me running his fingers through my hair, down my back, and eventually, lower.
It was a struggle to stay focused under his ministrations. He was so forward, so determined. So . . . unaware of why he’s doing this.
That was the only reason why I was able to pull away from Luke's intoxicating lips and life altering hands.
"You will be the death of me baby," I mumbled against Luke's lips before giving him a small peck and taking a couple of steps back so he could get a clear head.
He shook his head rubbing his forehead in confusion.
"That's so weird, why does that keep happening?" Luke whispered to himself.
"What keeps happening?" I asked, holding his chin so he would look me in the eyes.
"I keep losing control of my body whenever we kiss or touch, it's like I can't get enough of you," Luke confessed blushing at his words.
I tried to look natural but the revelation had me tense all over again.
"Let's go back to lunch, I'm sure everyone's dying to hear what we talked about."
Luke laughed, nodding his head in agreement.
"I totally agree, those nosy bastards love our drama."
