Hello everyone! Thank you all so much for your support of Lonely Planet Hotel! I wanted to take a second and introduce you all to my main, biggest, and longest running web novel - The Wayward Souls of Avalon! This is my passion project and it is incredibly near and dear to my heart. Since I will be running a sale on my Patreon starting next week, I wanted to give you all some info on this series and let you know that the first THREE chapters are free to read, so if you'd like to go and check it out before becoming a Cosmonaut, please do! Since LPH is a slower moving web novel and I am slammed with other publishing projects, I do hope you'll consider becoming a Cosmonaut and checking out The Wayward Souls of Avalon while I work on LPH in the background!
The Wayward Souls of Avalon is a cozy slice-of-sci-fi novel set aboard a small, cozy space station known as The Avalon. It tells the story of a young documentarian named Jocasta Thorne who is waiting for his husband, architect and creator of The Avalon Carlyle Thorne, to return from his last trip to Earth. A fleet of space sations is scheduled to make the long trip to Mars in the coming days, and the populace is preparing for departure. Earth is projected to collapse in the next year, so the richest and most influential individuals mankind had to offer enrolled in a humanitarian project run by an organization known as N.O.V.A. with the goal of colonizing Mars and giving humanity a second chance.
While Jocasta patiently waits for his husband to return, the Earth collapses in on itself ahead of schedule. Jocasta is trapped inside of his station without the passcode to the cockpit, and must watch as the fleet leaves without him, stranding him on the cusp of the broken planet's orbit. As months roll on and he begins to lose hope, Jocasta begins journaling letters to his husband as a way of processing his emotions. He tries to figure out what to do without Carlyle, when he suddenly hears a knock at the bay door...
Jocasta finds himself face-to-face with a space-suit wearing individual who introduces himself as Troy McNamara, and the stranger promises he can get them Mars. Having no other choice, Jocasta puts his trust in Troy and the unlikely duo begins a year-long journey to Mars aboard The Avalon.

This is my baby, I LOVE this web novel so much but it is a Patreon exclusive so not a lot of people have read it! So, I'd love for you to pop on over to my Patreon and give those free chapters a read and consider pledging either now and bumping up your tier when the sale starts, or next week once that sale goes into effect! You can get access to all three of my web novels for $3/mo at my Starry-Eyed Space Cadets tier, and the sale starts on Friday the 24th which will take my $5/mo tier - Galaxy-Wide Ghoulfriends (which gets you access to all of my web novels and all of my short stories) - down to $3 and my $8/mo tier - Saucy Space Cadets (which gets you access to all of my web novels, all of my short stories, AND any spicy bonus content) - will go down to $6 and you'll be locked into those prices permanently!
I would LOVE for you to come check out The Wayward Souls of Avalon, the link to chapter one is below in the description or you can head to my author page and click on the Patreon link! If you're enjoying Lonely Planet Hotel, I'd definitely suggest checking this one out because they're similar and you'll get a lot of content to read while I'm working on new chapters, too!
Thanks so much for your continued support! Y'all are the best!
When Ellis Hughes accepted a position at the mysterious Lonely Planet Hotel, he never expected to find himself on a plane bound for Antarctica. Forced to leave his technology behind, Ellis arrives on the doorstep of a grand, state of the art facility nestled in the frigid arctic wasteland early in the AM hours on New Year's Eve. The resort is secretive, exclusive, and completely hidden from public knowledge. Only those with high recommendations can book a season at the facility, and the incoming guests looking for a reprieve are not what he initially envisioned.
Run by the chipper Carlisle Hawthorne and his dedicated and hardworking staff, The Lonely Planet Hotel opens its doors for the first season of the year, thrusting Ellis into a world filled with artists, aristocrats, heirs and lost souls all looking for healing in the midst of a chaotic universe. The beautiful, isolated hotel offers rest for the weary, healing for the hurt, and family for the lonely, and Ellis' once chaotic, lonely life is suddenly made brighter under the glow of the Antarctic sun.
