Apologies that this isn't a chapter update. This is just a notification that I'll be returning to writing in January 2024. I'll be starting with a warm-up work, an entirely new novel to get back into the swing of writing regularly again, before swinging back to write more Spooky Darling and the sequel to Mortician of Avalon.

This will be my first novel upon returning, a European-style fantasy novel about a diplomat and an elf Prince who are trying to prevent war through an unlikely union. This should be ready to start updating in February 2024, as I'll be spending January building an appropriate buffer.

You may also notice that the name of this account, and various things, have changed. That's to reflect that I am now part of a writing partnership! Xena Wright is my fiancee, and will also be sharing and posting her works for you to read in 2024, as well as providing art and sketches. Xena's going to be quieter on our socials and comments (it'll mostly still be me there!). I've updated our online presence below to reflect this so you can check out our socials.

Thank you to everyone who reached out to me while I was gone! I'm glad to be back now and I'm looking forward to sharing stories with you all again!
