After a few days in the medical center, the Riders leaves for the next town. After a couple of weeks, they arrive Terabyte town a massive town that is known for its historical museums. The Riders go to the Museum of Cobalan history. The Riders leaves their Mekanimals outside the building before entering the museum. "Think anyone here can help us pinpoint the legendary mekanimals location?" Asks Zafira. "All we know is that the legendary mekanimal is buried under some mountain. Someone here might help us pinpoint which mountain its buried in." Says Ruby. "They're right Zafira. If anyone knows where the legendary mekanimal is, its likely going to be someone who knows where its is." Says Tuga, not looking where he is going. Tuga bumps into a museum staff and tries to help the worker. The museum worker appreciates the help and mentions the legendary mekanimal they overheard the Riders talk about. Zafira mentions how they were looking for someone who knows where it is. The worker introduces themselves as the museums historian and takes the Riders to there office. In the Historians office, the Historian begins to tells the Riders about the human-machina war.

Twenty thousand years ago, humanity landed on Cobalus after fleeing their home planet of Earth. At first, the humans say the mekanimals as simple machines with no higher consciousness. They captured many species and augmented them with all kinds of weaponry, weaponry that would lost to time. Many mekanimals suffered from this process with many succumbing to the pain and passing. This act of cruelty was noticed by the machina and war was declared. It was long and brutal with several species being driven to extinction. Once humanity lost the war, the machina laid the augmented mekanimals to rest including a species that was made to be humanities main weapon, the Neogiga. It took thousands of years for humans to atone for what they did but peace was eventually achieved. As for the Neogiga, it is said to be buried in the most hostile area in Cobalus, Firewall mountain.

After hearing the story, Tuga brings up the possibility of the legendary mekanimal being a Neogiga. The Historian mentions how the Neogiga has been extinct for thousands of years, being one of the species lost during the war. "Do you know where Firewall mountain is at least?" Asked Ruby. The Historian tells them that Firewall mountain is north of Terabyte town. After being told this, the Riders leave the museum and bid the Historian farewell. As they get on their Mekaniamals, Zafira begins to express guilt after hear about the atrocities humanity had committed. "I understand your reason for feeling like this, but humans were selfish and driven by fear back then. Humans have changed since then and will continue to change and learn. Look at me for example!" Says Tuga, reassuring Zafiras guilt. Now in high spirits, the Riders begin to make their way north to Firewall mountain. Little do they know, Sebal had heard the entire conversation without them knowing.

Elsewhere, Sebal meets with Titus and Copperhead and tells them the location of the legendary mekanimal. "Firewall mountain huh? That place is a massive death trap for anyone foolish enough to go there." Says Titus. "Wouldn't that make us the fool according to you Titus?" Asked Copperhead. "Pfft, with these augments? Whats a little heat going to do to us? If anything Sebal should the concerned one here. The only piece of metal on him is that left arm of his."Titus says in a bashful manner. "I suggest we focus on the mission or would you like a reminder of what happened to your previous razorclaw bear?" Says Sebal, enraging Titus. The Raiders get on their Mekanimals and leave to tell their boss the information they got. Along the way, Sebal and Swordtooth begin to have doubts about the Raiders cause. They think back to what Zafira said before putting it in the back of their minds, hoping the doubt would fade away.
