The Earth Science of the planet
1 - At the top are the floating islands. The rocks contains lodestone and depending on the density some islands float higher than others
2 - Clouds of corruption - These clouds are corrosive and in a world at the beginning of technology, there is only rudimentary planes that cannot proceed past these clouds.
3 - The ground. Different tribes call the ground by different names. Most call it the abyss of death, wretched lands or place of no return.
