Everything seems a bit confusing to me. Apparently, I was shot, but I hear someone calling me. I no longer know what’s real and what isn’t.

“Stop talking to yourself, girl.”

“Who said that? Am I in paradise?”

“For me, this is paradise. Want a beer?”

I was lying on the bar counter while Fox drank liters of beer. According to him, just pointing the gun at me put me in shock, and I passed out. So, he took me through the underground tunnel, and we ended up in this underground bar? I thought it would be much worse.

“Why did you bring me here? We need to delete that damn photo to avoid getting kicked out.”

“I brought you here because this bar can take us to any district we need.”

Districts are the divisions of our country, ranked up to 6 stars. Typically, the best districts have 4 stars or more, and to access them, you need to be part of the elite society. However, since this illegal bar has underground portals, I think we can bypass that system.

“So, it’s likely that you know a place even weirder than this to solve our problem.”

“Not me, but my childhood friend Jeff definitely knows. He’s a bartender and has heard all sorts of stories in this place. Besides, he’s willing to turn a blind eye so we can use a portal.”

Unlike Fox, Jeff was well-mannered and told us about a district where someone has the influence to spread and erase any information—the Commercial District. This district is well-known and ranks with 3 stars, so it didn’t seem inaccessible. I asked Jeff why we had to use the portal, and he said:

“My dear, the part of this place you know is the popular one. Do you really think the elite would mix with you?”

“But who are we going to meet that’s so important?”

“Scott Falk, owner of the world’s most influential newspaper, The Fallkon. Few know where he lives, but they say he can manipulate any information in exchange for something.”

As foolish as it may seem to go after one of the most influential guys in the world just to delete a photo, I’ve always wanted to buy a dress that suits me, but I never had the courage to go shopping. So here we go to the Commercial District!

Some time passed, and we changed out of our school uniforms to avoid being noticed. Fox had the brilliant idea that we should pose as a couple.

“Relax, I know you won’t want to talk to anyone, so just follow my lead, Titan.”

“My name is Rachel, and if you get too cheeky, I’ll smack you.”

We passed through the underground portal and arrived at the upper part of the Commercial District. For us low-ranking folks, this place was a bustling underground hub, but the open-air area was completely different—they sold everything here. Although I wanted to shop as we strolled through the chic streets, Fox always warned me and kept me focused on the mission.

“Don’t stare too much at the shop windows. People here rarely waste time browsing; if they want something, they buy it.”

We realized it wouldn’t be easy to find this guy’s house. After all, we’re dealing with someone wielding immense power. But it’s no coincidence that Fox is known as the genius of chaos.

“How are we going to find him? If it were that easy, he wouldn’t have been hiding in the same place for years.”

“Simple. Let’s give him some groundbreaking news—something so big that one of his informants will have to come and register it to pass it on to him. Now tell me, Titan, what else are these guys afraid of?”

This might seem like a silly answer, like fear of snakes, spiders, and such. However, the response he wanted was:

“Losing money.”

“Well, it seems you’re not that foolish. The idea is quite simple: let’s create the beginnings of a revolution by opening the doors for the underground to come to the surface.”

There’s only one staircase leading up to the VIP area of the district, and it can only be opened from the top. It’s a staircase guarded by three security personnel, and to unlock the door, we just need to press a button in the adjacent cabin.

“Plan A: I’ll distract them with some clowning around, and you, with your athletic abilities, will enter the cabin and press that button.”

“And Plan B?”

“Beat them up.”

Fox approached the guards and started yelling that he’d been robbed. One guard came closer to calm him down, but Fox grabbed his neck, causing him to fall to the ground. The other two guards rushed over with stun guns to help their friend, and that’s when I slipped into the cabin. However, the door required a password to unlock, and since it didn’t recognize my fingerprint, it started beeping.

“Recheeeeeelll!!! Plan B, beat these idiots!”

“Well, I guess I have no other choice.”

Luckily, I’ve been training in combat since discovering my powers. While Fox held one of them, yelling like a startled deer, I had to fight off the other two and take them down as quickly as possible.

“I managed to hit him with his own weapon. Need hel… Well, it looks like you’ve already defeated them.”

“No fight is too hard for Super Rachel.”

We grabbed one of the unconscious guards and used his fingerprint to open the door. Chaos erupted quickly because the door was small, and people started crowding around. But it was enough—the bait was set. However, in our haste to escape and hide, we forgot one simple thing: cameras were everywhere.

[Meanwhile, in a distant place]

“Doctor! The gate! It’s open!”

“ShiShiShi! Looks like we have unwelcome guests in our paradise.”
