Yeah so I was in the ER last week because of a pretty nasty fall. I ended up having a sprain as well as needing stitches. Just my luck I suppose. Your support on here and on my other comic series would mean a lot to me. Meanwhile, I would like to wish you all a happy pride month and I can't wait to get to show you the second protagonist of this story... its super queer ;;]
Happy pride month, hope you heal swift and painless! I've been really enjoying the color scheme, light and browns, golden tones, just, gorgeous lighting. It's beautiful to look at, and really builds the hazy, ethereal, almost divine? atmosphere. Like I am all in on the vibes, and it really feels like one of those hazy, half-remembered snippets of menory you get when you're really sick. I really like it. Truly an indulgence just to look at the art, plus I'm excited about where you'll take us story-wise!
When Jadyn, an American medical surgeon working in France, is assigned to help nurse a paraplegic soldier back to health, he begins to pick up on some alarming details. Dmitri, after burning through numerous nurses and hospitals, is surprised to find himself at the hands of a charming and compassionate young man. Did Jadyn get the short end of the stick, or is Dmitri not as bad as they say? --- Gentle Hands is a story of queer identity, and the disabled experience told through the lens of WWI.
