Yeah so I was in the ER last week because of a pretty nasty fall. I ended up having a sprain as well as needing stitches. Just my luck I suppose. Your support on here and on my other comic series would mean a lot to me. Meanwhile, I would like to wish you all a happy pride month and I can't wait to get to show you the second protagonist of this story... its super queer ;;]
Happy pride month, hope you heal swift and painless! I've been really enjoying the color scheme, light and browns, golden tones, just, gorgeous lighting. It's beautiful to look at, and really builds the hazy, ethereal, almost divine? atmosphere. Like I am all in on the vibes, and it really feels like one of those hazy, half-remembered snippets of menory you get when you're really sick. I really like it. Truly an indulgence just to look at the art, plus I'm excited about where you'll take us story-wise!
Somewhere in the distant French countryside, a Russian soldier lies, watching the window from his bed. He knows not where he is, or really why. Nor does he know the women who care for his broken body. How could he? He never asked. Never spoke.
Gentle hands is a story following a veteran living in a shell-shock institution, and the new nurse assigned to take care of him.
