Her hands pressed the tablet screen as she typed out her answer pausing sometimes in thought, once she finished she handed the tablet to Officer Bar and layed down. Nurse Jasmine and officer Bar both looked at the tablet “Something had happened to him and he turned a little possessive but I can't recall what or why, all I can think about is the word water and I don't know why, maybe i'm just recalling something wrong? Everything is such a blur.” Nurse Jasmine looked over at Rosa “It's okay, maybe your brain is scrambled right now, I believe you should rest for now.” She looked over at Officer Bar motioning him to leave, “She’s right, but maybe you're onto something.” Rosa looked at Officer Bar confused, Officer Bar smiled “ y'all can leave it to me, just relax and I promise to visit you tomorrow, it's getting late and I gotta go.” Rosa began to tap her finger on the bed under the covers, Officer bar got up, walked to the door waving at Rosa and left the two alone, he closed the door behind him, he looked over at his colleague guarding the door. Officer Bar smiled, “Tom, ask the nurse to get some water for Jasper Hunter.” His colleague nodded “ Right away sir, and my name is Tim.” “Get going Tom!” His colleague sighed “yes sir!” Tim walked off, Officer Bar didn't really care for his colleagues, but what he did care about at the moment was figuring out the hunter's secrets. Officer Bar walked towards the elevator, “I think looking into the hunter’s past again is a good idea” he mumbled to himself. He walked inside clicking the first floor button getting ready for another all-nighter at the police station.
Officer Bar arrived at the station, walking inside he made his way through the building to the bosses office, he passed by a secretary desk. A woman called out “Officer Bar, Jerry’s making an important phone call!” Officer Bar turned around “Have you ever been told you're as pretty as a peach” he smiled winking at her. She stared at him in confusion “ Officer Bar, that is not going to work on me, yesterday you told me I was ugly as a Wrinkle-Faced Bat, I don't even know what that is!” She shouted, Officer Bar crossed his arms “Well have you ever heard of a Horseshoe bat?” the woman sighed, “No officer Bar I haven’t”, Officer Bar frowned, turning around bursting into Jerry's office “you should hire a new secretary.” Jerry looked up annoyed. “oh hello there Bar, It's not like I was in an important phone call.” Jerry sighs while hanging up the phone, Officer Bar smiles “Well that's good, now get me the files of the Hunter family from Ground Zero”, Jerry frowned “again, you already looked at it.” Officer Bar walked over and sat on the sofa, “great to know, now go get it!” Jerry sighed and left, coming back a couple minutes later. Jerry comes back with a big box in his hands and drops it onto the table, he turns around and walks over closing the door as his secretary shakes her head in disappointment.
“What are you looking for?” Jerry sits on the sofa across as he watches Officer Bar rummage through the files in the box. “Anything that seems odd” Jerry reaches over and grabs a file “what’s so odd about working at a teddy bear factory?” Officer Bar looked up “Nothing is odd about that because the place was known to produce the best teddy bears in the state.” Jerry scanned the file “Then what about this, the father would spontaneously leave for months at a time.” Officer Bar jumped up “where did you find that?” Jerry slides the file over, Officer Bar grabs it and scans over the pages. Jerry scratches his head “well to tell you the truth my secretary found the file a couple days ago in the wrong box.” Officer Bar stares daggers at Jerry, “No I will not fire her!” Officer Bar shuffles through the pages on the file, “do we know what the father did?” Jerry nodded his head “Well sorta, the thing is he was a scientist for TBG which stands for Teddy Bear Genetics.” “The bear company the Mama worked at?” “Yes, They hired scientists to test the likeness of teddy bears with children, the factory also housed orphans.” “That's very weird, I reckon if you look into that factory we could find some answers!” “Wait me and not you?” “I don't want you to be pitching a hissy fit!” Jerry rolled his eyes and walked over to the computer. “Just you wait Hunter I’ll make you sweat like a whore at church!” Officer Bar lets out a deep violent chuckle, as he continues to scan the newly acquired flies. A couple of minutes later Jerry calls Officer Bar over “Look at this, I found this website GallyBestTeddy.com when you scroll through it, of course most of it is about the teddy bears, but there's a part about the children they housed and it's kinda sketchy.” Officer bar bent down to take a closer look “Why would they keep children in a factory, that's dangerous!” Jerry nodded his head “Yeah, but apparently the factory wasn't really a factory it was more like a toy store, it has different sections so people are allowed in to play and or create their very own teddy bear while in the back is the factory itself.” Jerry clicked on the About adoption section, “The Gally Bear Toy Center has a whole floor dedicated to housing of children who are just waiting for the right family for them click the link for more information about our wonderful children you can adopt.” Jerry moved the mouse and clicked the link, a black screen appears with the words employees login flashing across the screen. “Wait, why would employees login here? Said Jerry, “I don’t know, but we definitely need to get in somehow.” “Jerry is their employee section?” Jerry scrolls through the website “Can’t find one, but I found about the owner section, Hugo Kass a 35 year old male who started the company in nineteen forty-five after war world two, the current owner Don Kass Hugo’s son took over, after his father died in nineteen sixty- four at age fifty-four, Hugo Kass had disappeared inside Gally Bear Toy Center.” Jerry sighed, “Everything else is just giving praise to the two men, but that's weird that the father disappeared inside his own factory, but what's even more suspicious is that a couple of days after the father disappeared the son started the child housing project.” Officer Bar sighed “Alright send the website and lets try to get some information about the child housing project and the fathers disappearance.”
Officer bar abruptly woke up, he was laying on the couch with papers and flies around him. He looked over at Jerry who was slumped over the computer having a peaceful sleep, Officer Bar was jealous, he didn't really have a good night. He couldn't really find anything about the Hunter family that wasn't normal. Officer Bar hoped Jerry had found something, He stood up putting the files on the table and walked over to Jerry, slammed his fist on the table, but Jerry didn’t stir awake, Officer Bar Slammed both fist on the table Jolting Jerry awake “What! Oh Officer Bar?” Jerry straightens his back and sighs, “Okay What do you need?” Officer Bar points to the computer, “Did you find anything about what I asked?” Jerry sighed, “I couldn’t find any employees im not a god, but I might of found something about Hugo Kass disappearance, While you were asleep I called a guy who use to be part of Gally police force and asked them if they still have access to the system, He told me he did somehow and told me that certain case didn't have any living evidence we could accuse, they believed the son had something to do with it.” Officer Bar folded his arms, “That's it?” Jerry nodded “Yeah we barely have anything to work with besides the most of the employees are gone except one.” Officer bar leaned in, “I thought you said your buddy couldn't find anybody?” Yeah that's the thing I couldn’t find anybody because they changed their name” Officer bar eyes went wide, “What?” Jerry smiled, “Yeah and guess what the son is still alive and he has another business that's a couple days away it's a roller skating ring that's in an area known for children to go missing.” Officer bar asked, “What’s his name now?” Jerry smiled, “He took on his wifes last time and changed his first name, his name is Chris Garcia and turns out the guy has kids!” Officer Bar asks “Who and are any alive?” Jerry sighed, “ His wife and four kids were in Gally at the time of the event, but turns out we have one with us and currently they're in the hospital.” Officer bar gasped, “You're not saying what I think you’re gonna say?” Jerry nodded “Chris Garcia's daughter is Rosa Garcia.” Officer Bar said, “I'm going to have to talk to Liam Perez about this." Jerry nodded, “I assume you’re going to the roller skating ring soon want me to come?” Officer Bar shook his head, “No when I leave I want you to keep an eye on the boy, I’ll text you when I decide to go, right now it's not the right time.” Jerry's eyebrow went up, “Okay?”
