Thank you so much for checking out my book The Cabin! This is the first time I've ever tried to write a horror novel. This book will have no strong language, but it will have adult themes so please be aware of that.
I only put rape in my stories if it serves a purpose to explain why a character is traumatized or why he or she makes certain unsafe choices. There will be no actual rape scenes, only brief mentions in conversation or flashbacks I do not condone rape or any form of abuse.  If you begin to feel triggered or have unsafe thoughts either stop reading or skip the chapter. If you decide to read, do it at your own risk knowing what this book contains.
