Been meaning to make this.
So, as little treat in-between episodes, here's a roster of all the characters introduced so far.
The pronouns listed because this comic is published in English.
Korean as a language doesn't really use pronouns all that much????
You may have noticed that Hajun is actually a year older than Gunwoo but in their first meeting, they are in the same grade in high school. This is because Gunwoo is considered to have an "early birthday".
Previously, schools in Korea began enrolling students with the birthday cut-off starting on March 1st. Therefore, children born between January 1st to Feburary 28th/29th actually get enrolled "early" with students born a year before them.
I believe they recently got rid of this practice, and now students born in the same year are enrolled in the same grade.
This is similar to how in American schools, there is a birthday cut-off after September 1st, causing students born between September 1st and December 31st to be enrolled with those born a year after them.
Jang Gunwoo, heir apparent to the crime syndicate Grand Sol, is killed.
Jang Sunwoo swears to avenge the death of his older brother, and in doing so takes Gunwoo's place (quite literally) by entering a strange contract with the family's patron demon.
