The weekend eventually arrived; Shinjiro had to deal with many unruly customers as many got upset at the fact that they needed to wait until new batches of baked goods were ready as certain items sold faster than others.

But aside from that Shinjiro needed to put his focus on the fact that he was going to be hanging out with Silas later in the day, Silas said he had everything already planned out and for him to not worry about it. It would be a lie if he said he wasn't nervous about going out with a male alpha without Keiko, after all she had promised to protect him.

~~~Flashback~~~

Shinjiro was 14 and she was 18 when they first met at a school playground, Keiko was a bit of a delinquent as a teen which caused her to get into a lot of fights. So for alone time she would go to a school playground, and one day happened to find him at the playground crying, "Hey kid what are you crying about?". He looked up at her and started wiping at his tears with his sleeves, "I-im not crying about anything miss, I got sand in my eye".

She rolled her eyes, "Kid I'm not an idiot, now can you please tell me your name and why you are crying?". Keiko bent down on her knees to be closer to him. But he then suddenly tackled her into a hug and squeezed her tightly, "My name is Watanabe Shinjiro, I'm 14 and I was crying because...because I was getting bullied for presenting as an omega..", he had said as he continued to sob into her arms. 

Upon hearing his words she put his arms around him and held onto him, "It's gonna be alright Shiniro, I wanna let you know there is nothing wrong with you being an omega, ok?" she said gently to him and rubbed his head. He looked up at her, "Are you lying to me? Everyone says I'm nasty for being an omega...". 

She sighed a little at hearing his response, "I'm not lying, I can understand how you feel right now Shinjiro, I'm a female alpha and there are people who say I'm not worthy of being an alpha just because I'm a woman". This made him feel more at ease and eventually stopped crying, "Im Keiko by the way and I'm 4 years older than you".

"Then can you be my Onne-Chan?" He said abruptly, taking Keiko aback, "But we have only just met, how do you expect me to be your onee-". He looked up at her with puppy dog eyes, "Please onee-chan...", he pleaded. 

She couldn't resist his face and patted his head, "Alright then kid, I'm gonna give you my phone number so call me whenever you can kiddo if you need me for anything. I will also be at this playground from time to time". Keiko stood up and smiled gently at him. "Alright kiddo I'm gonna go now, stay safe", she walked away out the playground.

~~~Present Time~~~

Shinjiro stood in front of the tall mirror in his room looking at himself, "Hm, is this casual enough?" he mutters to himself. He was wearing a light blue shirt with dark blue jeans; he also put his hair into a small ponytail with his bangs laying on the side of his slightly rounded face. 

Once he was done getting dressed he headed over to his bathroom where he pulled out his makeup bag, took out his cover up and started to gently apply it onto the scar that rested over his right eye going down his cheek. He looked at himself once again in the mirror checking to make sure the makeup was fully blended, once satisfied he put the makeup away and out the bathroom when he heard his alarm he set as a reminder going off. "Great I'm right on time" he said to himself as he headed out his front door locking it behind him before heading to Tōkyō Station.

Shinjiro walked for the most part to his destinations but today Silas said that where they were heading would require a train which made him a bit uneasy, but it's a public place so what could happen? But Silas did seem like a genuine guy to himself and his employees, but he could tell Keiko was a little weary whether that be because of how Emi reacted about his presence or the fact it's because he's an alpha.

He ended up making it safely to the station; looking around watching as people walked by him. Then he spotted a tall man in the crowded station, as he got closer he saw the curly brown hair belonging to Silas. He was wearing a casual suit; the under shirt being a lavender purple with his suit coat being black and paired with black pants and brown dress shoes. When Shinjiro saw him he thought he seemed over dressed like they were going on a date together which made him feel out of place seeing as he had decided to dress in casual clothes.

"Hey Shinjiro! It's been a few days, how have you been?" Silas exclaimed with a huge smile on his face. 

Shinjiro exchanged a smile back, "Hey Silas, I have been ok, it was very busy this week at work so I couldn't text you back that much sorry". Shinjiro's smile turned into an awkward smile and started to fiddle with his fingers; Silas noticed and patted his head, "Don't worry about it, I understand, I have seen how busy your shop gets" he says to reassure him.

Shinjiro nodded and let out a small sigh of relief, "So what are the plans you have for us today?" He looked up at Silas tilting his head slightly. "So I made a reservation for a restaurant for dinner, then I was thinking about going to a park with you? You seem like you would wanna go to a park or maybe even to a bookstore".

Silas looked at him awaiting his response hoping that that would be stuff he would wanna do with him. He nodded, "You assumed right, I do enjoy stuff like going to the park or a quiet bookstore" he laughed a little, "Keiko is the only person that knows me personally so I'm happy you could figure out what I would be into! Let me stop yapping lets not miss the reservation you set".

Silas then looked at his watch, "We do need to start going right now, it's in about two hours", Silas said as he gently grabbed Shinjiro's hand and started walking with him onto the train. He was a bit shocked at first with the sudden hand holding but eased into it and gripped onto his hand making Silas's cheeks flush from his response.

They both made it to their reservation on perfect timing, Silas had pulled out Shinjiro's chair for him and once he was sat he went and sat down himself. "I'm going to be paying so you can order whatever you would like" he said to Shinjro with a smile while handing him a menu to look at. Taking it he started to look over the menu and his eyes widened at how much some of the stuff was, "Are you sure I can get whatever I want..? Everything is so pricey", uncerently evident in his voice.

"Yes you can get whatever you want, money is not a problem for me at all especially for you", he said, not looking up from the menu. They both looked over the menu in silence until they both knew what they wanted and Silas waved the waiter over.

"Hello guys I'm your waiter for the night. What would you guys like to order?" He said with a smile on his face while holding his notepad to take down their order. Silas nodded at Shinjiro to order first, "I would like the sushi with tempura with a bowl of udon please".

The waiter nodded and looked over at Silas, "And for you sir?", "I would the Tonkatsu with a miso soup please" he then grabbed the menu from Shinjiro and handed them over to the waiter. "Alright I will be out with your food shortly" he bowed slightly and headed away.

Silas then looked at Shinjiro, "Would it be alright for me to ask you some stuff about your relationship with Keiko, you mentioned she's the only one who knows you personally". "Yea I don't mind telling you some, I met her when I was 14 at a playground, I was bullied that day for presenting as an omega and I was upset, she was there to comfort me and since then she's been in my life" Shinjiro smiled as he continued talked about that day.

Shinjiro went into detail about some of the stuff he has done with Keiko and how she protected him after a traumatizing incident, "What happened, did someone do something to you?" Slias asked, concerned, Shinjiro let out a small sigh, "I'm sorry, I don't feel comfortable telling you about what happened to me yet".

"Please don't apologize, you don't need to apologize for not wanting to tell me something that hurt you", Silas leaned over and grabbed onto his hand and gave them a squeeze.

"I wanna let you know now if there is anything you don't feel comfortable with like my actions or my questions tell me. It won't hurt my feelings at all I promise, I wanna stay by your side and protect you".

There was so much more Silas wanted to say to him but he knew he wouldnt be able too, at least not today...
