I created many secondary characters without a clear path in mind for what was going to happen with them, especially in Season 1. It kept the fun of discovering the story as I was writing and improvising it panel by panel. Medusa is one of them. Still, I gave her a backstory and explained the origin of her powers eventually… but this will only be revealed in Season 4!
