The next day, Imogen and Jonathan reported the incident to the principal's office.

Henry was expelled, there were cameras, marks, and bruises as evidence. Jonathan and Imogen remained best friends… This "friendship" became love to Jonathan, and a disturbing obsession.

Now, they're in their last year of high school ; Imogen Garcia is now 17 years old , she's still helping those in need, her heart remains as kind and warm. Jonathan Williams is now also 17 years old, he's more closed off, cold towards everyone but Imogen, being extremely protective of her.

Imogen walks down the hall , she left her class early since she got all her work done. Jonathan follows her for a few seconds before hugging her from behind “Imogen!~”. She pauses, “J-Jonathan?” she asks surprised "your one and only!" he giggles. She chuckles awkwardly “anyways! wanna go to MARGDONALDS next week? I heard they brought those spicy chicken nuggets back!” he asked, grinning. "Sure, let's go" Imogen replies as the bell rings. She looks up for a moment “I have to get to class now, see you Jonathan!” Jonathan nods and waves as she walks away.

Imogen walks into her art class, almost immediately she gets greeted by a group of girls in front of the door. “C’mon Imogen! Let’s sit over there” “we have a lot to talk about!” Samantha said, she took Imogen’s arm and they all walked to a table. “Imogen, wanna hang out today?” Maggie asks “sure I’ll just have to ask my dad first!” Imogen replies. “Can I borrow your pen?” Samantha asks “mhm” Imogen nodded. “Wanna do karaoke next week?” Kate asks “sure, I’ll be free” Imogen replies. “Tsk, is that loser ever going to learn?” Maggie says in a harsh tone, “What? why are we calling people losers?” Imogen asks, her eyes narrow slightly.

“Look, I don't mean to judge or anything but...how could you let yourself get picked on in high school?” Maggie replies. Imogen turns to the "loser" Maggie is talking about. He’s tall, has brown hair, and round glasses. He seems to be getting picked on, it bothers Imogen 'Maybe I can try and talk to him after class'. The class ends and everyone leaves out the door. Imogen notices that the "loser" was staying behind “Are you coming Imogen?” Samantha asks, she shakes her head “I actually have to do something, you girls go ahead!” Imogen said smiling warmly at them. The girls wave goodbye, and her expression turns serious.

Imogen looks at the "loser", who was packing his things. She walks over to him slowly. “Hello...” she says smiling softly, the "loser" takes one look at her and then continues to pack his things. “I don't want to join” he answered coldly. Imogen stared at him confused “eh?-” “That's why you came up to me right?” he asks, looking at her again. Imogen giggles “no no...I just.. wanted to ask if everything was fine”. The "loser" looks at Imogen as if she’s got three heads “what are you? A therapist?” he asks, his tone becoming harsher.

Imogen chuckled nervously “no, I saw the guys giving you a hard time...hey, I know this is out of the blue..but would you like to be friends?” she asks, smiling warmly. The "loser" zips his backpack up “no thanks, I know this is just some ... Prank” he says, Imogen just stares at him as he puts his backpack on. “hm, well, I only said it because you seemed lonely...” she said, seemingly teasing him. The "loser" grits his teeth "Y-yeah? Well, I-I didn't want to be your friend anyway!" He huffs, pushing her aside and walking out. Imogen takes a moment before she laughs. 'He's...pretty fun to tease..'
