Heading To the Ralvionmall Empire

Heading To the Ralvionmall Empire

Jun 21, 2025

What is that brat doing?!

Myra leaps and parkoured through the trees' branches and followed the unknown figure.

This person is running through a direction pretty fast to where it is pretty distant from the guards and too fast even for them to grasp with their natural abilities to notice it, which made them become restless and tried to know what is happening.

A metallic sound banging to the ground came across the place where it is near by the forest, a manly figure with his long beard appeared with his big axe facing down through the crust. He has dark brown hair and orange eyes and is a white skinned man with a big and broad shoulder, making him look like a domineering ogre.
His name is Travis Mannrovvlen, known as a knight from the Nelveran clan who is feared by many for his terrifying figure from the war.

"What are ya thinkin' you're doing?!"
"Sir Mannrovlen!"
"It's really him!"
"Tch, what a stubborn bunch ya are."

Travis picked up his axe and went through from the open field near the border towards the norhteast of his side and cuts down trees following the strange movement from above the trees.

"Sir Travis!!"
"If you do that... The connection of the Nelveran members...!"
"SHUT YAR ASSES AND DO YOUR JOB! DRIVE THOSE OUTSIDERS AWAY!!"
"What?!!"

That was close!! Thankfully I was able to change my position quickly! Who is that guy?!

The bewildered guards followed Travis' orders and followed through the forest's movement, but with their speed becoming even faster, they were able to cross the border at the same time jumping out of their way from the trees, revealing each other's figures of Myra's beautiful lotus colored hair and peridot green eyes, while the other's appearance revealed to be a boy who has forest green hair and beautiful dark blue green eyes.

The both of them caught the glimpse of each other and didn't turn around, not letting people chasing on them get a grasp of their very appearance and just their confusing hair color because of the night's fog.

That boy! From the forest!

Marshall gets near with Myra with his walking stick and grabbed her hand making both of them run further away.

"You!"

Passing the border of the territory and continuously running faster, they got farther away, Travis shouted, "Hmm... WE'LL SURELY MEET AGAIN!! AND THAT TIME!! I'LL CATCH YOU MYSELF!"

Just as they had come very far enough to have Travis and the guards stop by the end of the border, and not being able to see them from a very far distance, Myra takes her hand back leaving Marshall astonished and stopped running.

"Ughh... !"

Marshall groaned in pain as he didn't almost notice Myra's attack coming at him, and vastly throws her punch right at Marshall.
Fast enough to left Marshall get a surprise blow but managed to block her fist with his hand but fell on his back with Myra and his walking stick. Marshall widened his eyes as he looked at Myra who looked mad enough that she's about to cry.

"Sorry... I saw what happened."
"!"

I can't think clearly and followed the impulses without a second thought even before, but now... With him being present here right in front of me... I can blame him... I slowly came to my senses of everything that happened and everything that happened started becoming clear to me... the fact that I just got abandoned.

The weight of the situation suddenly become even more clearer to me, making me feel overwhelmed with the overflowing emotions of not knowing what to do next.

Her tears flow out of her eyes, remembering what her master just said.

Marshall watched Myra who is sobbing above him who's expecting her to lash out on him more.

"I saw what happened."
"..."

Why isn't she throwing an attack at me more?
I'm her enemy. You can just blame me and move on, like your clan would always do, now that you know where I came from.

Myra looked at Marshall and made an eye contact with him who have a blank expression on him as if he's already expecting something from her. Myra didn't say anything as she looked at him and pulled herself up from him.

I hate this... I don't really like seeing crying girls this much...

Marshall helped himself with his walking stick and puts his hand on Myra's head, and rubbed it.

Marshall suddenly grabbed Myra's hand again. "Let's walk away from them now."

Myra takes her hand back and the both of them proceeded forward with their troubled minds as they walk by the night for so long, and silently following the moon's light. Reaching the top of a cliff revealing the beautiful grassland view with the moon clearly gazing upon it.
Myra checked below the edge of the cliff where below is a sea and a shipping port. But since it's still night, there weren't any people below and just an empty ship who may be going to work on by the day tomorrow. Maybe I should take on a travel in that ship.

She turned her vision towards Marshall's legs, and it seemed like it is starting to bleed from all the walking they did.
Both of them laid down by the grass, and Myra pulled her bag from her back and opened it, finding some clothes, as well as an unknown box which also came with the clothes which accidentally fell by the grass.

What is this... ?

When she opened the box, she came to see a covered leaf tied with a thin rope on it and 3 few bottles containing some medicines. Really... Master... What is all this... ?

I sighed and continued to quickly picked up one of the medicines.

"Hey, give me your injured leg."
"Huh?"
"Stop with that 'huh'? Just do it."

She kept bossing me around since earlier... But...

Marshall did what she said and slowly laid his leg down and opened the bandage, revealing the bleeding wound.

"Wai-"

Myra opened the bottle and poured all of it on the wound.

"ARRRGHH!"

Why is she pouring it just like that?! It's so painful!!!

"Stop being a big baby."

This little...

After they were finished, Marshall looked at Myra saying, "Why have you been helping me like this?"

I don't get it, she must've hated me, right?

Even as he asked and looked at her so intently, she still didn't mind him and ignored him, making the both of them fell in a silent atmosphere.

What is this?

Myra untied the covered leaf and unwrapped it. Realizing that it was a rabbit meat, remembering the hunt she did by the day.

"What's that smell?"

It looked freshly cooked... And the aroma... I let out a bittersweet smile. To think I've been wanting to eat this with my master around... I really looked forward to it.

Once again, she couldn't hold her tears for awhile and wiped her tears away with the back of her hand.

Did master really hated me... ? Then why... ?

Marshall looked away from Myra, and sighed, as he readied his lap with his hand and lays her head down on his lap.

... What is he?

He rubs his hand slowly, "Take it as my gratitude, I won't do anything to harm you."

She looked at him and said, "But master said not to trust anyone, only the geniune ones."

"That is a good advice, but do you think I'm lying with my injured leg, where you poured something that made it even more painful? It's the same with me, I still don't know what you're up to, and I can't trust you easily. Without getting to know for myself who you are."

Marshall made a wistful expression as he continued, "But that doesn't mean I shouldn't be kind to someone who treated my leg without thinking twice.

Myra lifted herself up afterwards and handed over a half of the rabbit meat to Marshall and said, "Here, my gratitude."

"Huh?"
"What's with the 'huh?' ... Just eat it, you're hungry too, aren't you?"

A gurgling sound went into their ears, creating an awkward atmosphere around them. It came from both of their stomachs.
Both of their faces turned red from embarrassment, and Marshall took the meat in a hurry.

"Just be quiet..."
"I am quiet..."

It seems like, they don't have any intention to mention anything more and Myra seemed to have finally calmed down.

Marshall looked hesitant as he looked at the meat on his hand. They took their bites of the meat, and Marshall were left surprised with the taste and ate it even further.

"See? Tasty, right?"
"Did you cook this?"
"No? ...I thought you saw what happened."
"I left when that scary guy left."

Luke? Must be so. He is truly terrifying.

"My master did. She cooks nice."

Marshall peaked a look at Myra without her knowing and she said, "Helping you doesn't have any clear reason to me, but the thing I'm sure of is that, even if the clans were at each to other's edge, the fact that the war is stopped still holds true."

I'm left speechless with this girl, but our clans did clash out at each other.

"Even if with someone who's the reason you left?"
"..."

Myra paused as she's about to take a bite down. And looked deep in thought.

"I can't blame you that you got hurt, nor myself. It's my decision no matter what you say about it ."

And even though I don't know who should I blame, do I really need someone to blame? At the current situation, I don't think I need that kind of anger to survive. And no matter what anger I'll feel by tonight or so, I'll go back to that when I can solve it, and who knows? I may feel different in the future. It's tiring to think it all at once, so better not add more.

"And even if I were to deny or admit it, right now, I would think I made the right choice, after all." - she said as she took one more bite.

"You can't trust people too suddenly."
"Of course, I don't. Do you think I trust you just because we ran together?"

Just the last minute, she looked pretty mad enough to cry and pull that punch at me and now she looked like she calmed down as if a slight bit of something just happened even though it was pretty serious. I don't think I have the right to say anything further.

"Oh yeah, how are you able to run that strangely fast if you injured your leg?"
"Oh this? I think It was the doing of the medicine you gave me when you left, it did helped with the wound a little and I wrapped it with a thick fallen branch. And then when I sensed that someone seems to be after me, I just quickly stood up by instinct and when I did I can suddenly run fast like it doesn't hurt. And it did went on, until I went pass the border."

Must be the medicine that master told me, that contains a medicine that acts like an adrenaline for an hour.

With the air becoming silent and finishing their food.

"Hey, tomorrow, what do you plan on doing?" - Marshall asked.

"..."

Myra pondered with Marshall's question and said, "I don't have any idea yet. But I plan to survive as much as I can."

"Surviving here in this place is dangerous. Although we managed to cross the border, some other clans still do linger around."
"Are they bad people?"
"I don't know, but mostly with my knowledge of them, they aren't pretty nice, if they were to meet a stranger from a different clan, especially right in this place."
"Then what about you?"

Hmm...

"I'll be getting unto that ship, and head to the Ralvionmall Empire."

To be Continued...
