furdinand dreams of a cave bear dreaming of a cave bear.
i love this image. i am admittedly a fan of furdinand, but i enjoy the re-introduction of passed-magic that was first introduced back in installment 0 (not to mention a hint of what is at the core of this totem and what we might see manifest when he pulls out the big-guns.

those who never sleep. it’s nice to have a few of those around–someone who watches, guards. i have often considered my cat

to be one who never sleeps–not to say he never sleeps. he sleeps quite a bit, but it is generally in my presence, at my feet or with me between him and a doorway. perhaps for him, i am those who never sleep.
i found this bear

on a trip to southern indiana–of all places. he was tucked in the back of a shelf in a shop. i knew when i picked him up, he was magic. maybe another of those who never sleep. good to have a few of those around.
An epic tale of dreams, nightmares, insanity, magic, missing children, and the legion of small, stuffed defenders who fight, and sometimes die, holding the line at the borders of dream and nightmare.
