Poetry, tea and melancholy

Vessel

Vessel

His eyes are empty, his soul gone

But i see maggots crawling on his body

I see bugs buzzing around him

I see a crow, pecking at his stomach

He is dead

Yet still a vessel for life

A collection of short poems about trauma, love and mental health. Best enjoyed with your favorite cup of tea and a small dose of melancholy. Some of them might be triggering. Completed for now, but more may come if the elusive bird called inspiration decides to make a nest on the tree that is me.
