I designed Suzanne's gills to look like sewing pins. Over time, however, I began to worry they looked like... a certain part of a woman's anatomy. I've fiddled with the design multiple times to steer away from that. It can be hard to say if this makes a difference or if anyone else even noticed as I'm usually my only critic.

Just a thought... Gills are exhaust vents for a water-breather. In the mouth, out the gills. Gill flaps cover the gills and prevent intake.
