"And Sludge Masters 6 is on View Mood," Iris said, checking it off a list.

"Then we'll skip that one, I don't have View Mood," Maia said.

Iris had it in her head that they had to have a scary movie marathon. It was spring so there wasn't really a reason for it, she just got in a horror mood all of a sudden. So she and Maia got a bunch of snacks ready, got Maia's laptop out and wrote down a bunch of movies to watch.

"Ugh, I don't want to skip any of them!" Iris said. "But if we have to skip any, that one is a straight-to-DVD prequel, and it sucks, and not in a fun way."

"So we'll skip it," Maia said.

Iris giggled as the two got under the covers. They peppered each other with light kisses, before Iris stopped abruptly, rushing out of bed.

"What the hell?" Maia asked.

"One sec, I just remembered something!" Iris said.

"Dude, we just got comfy!" Maia said.

"One second!" Iris said. She grabbed something from the closet then rushed to the bathroom.

"You didn't forget to go, did you?" Maia asked.

"Obviously not!" Iris said. "I just...wanted to..."

Iris burst out of the bathroom with an entirely new outfit on. Maia sat up to get a good look. She now wore the costume of the main character of the Demon Chick series, with shorts, foam bat wings, horns, and a bright green bikini top that was maybe a size too small for her.

"Whoa," Maia said.

"I figure if we're watching Demon Chick, I should show this bad girl off!" Iris said, twirling around. "So, how's it look?"

Maia gulped. "I...hope you won't wear that outside. It's a bit light, dude."

"Heh, I know!" Iris said. "Feels kind of embarrassing wearing it in here even if it's just you seeing it."

Iris tried to get back under the covers, but the wings got in the way.

"How did you think this was going to work?" Maia laughed.

"Better than freaking this!" Iris said. "Ugh!" She took the wings off and chucked them to the other bed. The two had been swapping which bed to use based on their mood, but generally sleeping in the same one together. "There, much better."

Maia felt warm all over as Iris was close. The blanket covered her up now, but the image of Iris in that bikini top was immediately burned into her memory. Even more so as the two cuddled close, with Maia still able to feel it.

"We should start with Demon Chick, right? I mean, I got the whole outfit on, so..." Iris said.

"Y-yeah, sure," Maia said. She loaded up the movie and the two leaned back.

Demon Chick wasn't a very scary movie, but it had spooky aesthetics at least as a demon girl tried to become a lawyer in Hellville, a less than pleasant depiction of what East Valataran was like, but a fun movie nonetheless.

As the movie went on and the two cuddled and ate their snacks, the blanket fell a bit. Maia's gaze fell away from the movie fairly quickly, locking on to Iris' chest like her top was made of catnip.

"Dude..." Maia said.

"What?" Iris asked, her smug grin saying she knew exactly what.

"Your boobs are like, basically out." Maia said.

"And? You got a problem with that, Miss Maia?" Iris asked.

"I do, it's distracting," Maia said.

Iris nuzzled in close. "Then do something about it."

Maia pulled the blanket up again, covering Iris up and forcing an eye roll out of her.

"What?"

"Something more fun than that, please?" Iris said.

"What do you want me to do?" Maia asked.

Iris grabbed Maia's hands, and pulled them to her chest.

"Is this alright?" Iris asked.

"Y-yeah, it's awesome," Maia said.

Maia kneaded Iris, and the movie was forgotten. Something about doing this under their blankets made it feel more exciting, even if it wasn't exactly a new thing for them.

"If you wanna...too..." Maia coughed. "Go for it."

Iris nodded, her own hands feeling around Maia.

"Best friend stuff," Iris giggled. "Boob friend stuff."

"Don't call it that," Maia said.

Both were warm, almost delirious as they felt each other.

"What should I call it, then?" Iris purred.

"I dunno," Maia said. "Just...something better than that."

Maia leaned in to kiss Iris, and the rest of the movie marathon was spent giving about a quarter of their attention to the movies.
