This chapter is pretty brutal, but I promise at least externally this is about as bad as it gets - sorry if it’s upsetting for anyone, though :,( Shayne is absolutely the true villain of this story, and I look forward to the part where we get to explore the coming complex romance between Ashley and Jennie (not spoiling anything I guess hahaha)
