Aiden's life is utterly ordinary. He goes to class, goes to the convenience store on the corner to work a shift, and goes home to have an existential crisis between his webcomic and his impending college final. Every day is basically the same, and the ones that aren't feel more mundane than they should. He's pretty sure he's cursed to live the most boring existence on the planet, but he wouldn’t have it any other way...

Enter Damien, a rocker who moves in next door and seems way too friendly for his own good. New to town and looking for friends and things to do, Aiden’s devilishly handsome (and surprisingly kind) new neighbor starts to shake things up in the quiet apartment complex - and Aiden's life.

Every night is suddenly filled with adventure and new experiences beyond Aiden's wildest imagination. The only issue? Aiden is pretty sure Damien is actually a demon, and he's pretty sure he isn't supposed to be falling for him - even if he checks off all of the hot goth boxes.

"The Dude Next Door is Definitely a Demon" is an episodic BL web novel series inspired by slice of life/romcom manga and webtoons with an urban fantasy twist. It follows the lives of two unlikely neighbors-turned-friends as they try to make each day extraordinary.
