So this was kinda fun to do. Both the crazy braying donkey in the first panel and the progressive laughter. I’ve gotta say though, I think this is a moment that works better live. When I do her laugh, it builds and builds until I can be heard for like miles. And I’ve got her howling, rolling on the floor, tears streaming. What can be really fun for me is doing this crazy laugh and pointing out at Jack, but it’s really the audience and someone walks past and I stop dead, say “it’s okay, I’m not laughing at you”, and BAM, right back into the howling. I might try to convey some of the hysterical laughing on the next page.
Now I gotta go design another character. Last one. Story’s almost done.
I can't imagine not hysterically laughing if I saw a guy carrying a donkey on this back. I wish that laughing magic could work in the real world too...
