Underneath I wrote a whole wall of text about my views and such, but I also want you to interprent this story for yourself and would like to know how your views are.

obviously I chose a rather radical example, but it stands for more labels; autism, bisexuality, pansexuality, demisexuality, ADHD, ADD, bipolar disorders, depression and anything similar.

I've met many people who say they do not believe in labels, and I agree that often these labels might be a bit off or sound harsh (is autism really a disorder or is it a type of personality?). But, labels can help to explain certain things, I'm not saying they should be used as an excuse ('I've got ADD so it's okay for me to not pay attention.').

When I see stuff like this: http://9gag.com/gag/aNeqrdb/childhood-is-not-a-disease
I just get annoyed, that meme is implying these problems/labels are not real. Which then implies, it's just attitude problems or acting weird, but it's not in one's own power to completely change their character. While being labeled can be very downputting, it may be the first step in understanding one's psyche and helping them to live comfortably.

of course, we should not label people as being insane. like I said, I took a generic and shocking label. Though often I feel like other labels are inter pretended as 'insane' by others too. Or at least as if the deviations are closer to being insane than the gross of people.

I see autime as a little waring for others that I may act different than 'normal' people. I go to a normal school (havo). I have dreams, life goals and other stuff that a 'normal' person also deals with. I get a bit mad if people treat me like I don't know how the world is or that I don't understand it. Most of the time I look it a two sides before I make a decision. While they look it only on ther own way. I accept the fact that it is like it is. I say sometimes: 'yeah, I've autism'. But when people say: 'weird autist', it hurts because my name isn't autist. It is something that I have and not am.
