If you have one of those peep holes in the door, try looking through there, but don't open the door all the way.

Looks like there were some papers back on the desk in your room, there might be some tape there too. Try using that to cover the peep hole. For now though, maybe try barricading the door with thebench/chair from the table over there (make sure the door is locked first though)
