If you ever see a huge text dump as a joke, chances are I wrote that. I'm in love with dialog.
It's a character flaw.
Mark's character flaw is that he's a sad sack.
Roy's is that he's selfish. In case that wasn't obvious.
I have actually always wondered about Jerr Designs. I wonder if Roy got fired or if he quit. I wonder if that business is still open or if it closed. You'd think I could easily remedy this curiosity, but I can't.
See, no one of us is the sole writer of this comic. Huge chunks were written by my Co-Brother and I, but the rest of the team wrote a bunch of is too. So, y'know, I can't just write whatever I want and demand it be done. We all have to agree. We all have to have an interest.
Not everyone's interests are so clearly centered around the minutia of story mythology or world building dynamics.
I love the little things. If you tell me how long a character would have to work to be able to afford something or knick knacks they keep on their dressers, well, you've got a fan in me.
Remember when Doc Brown explains time travel to Marty? I do. That was one of my favorite scenes in the movie when I was a kid.
Bad example. There isn't a bad scene in that movie.
Back to the Future is god's apology for an unjust world.
My brain is all over the place.
