Barb is Roy's girlfriend. And this is her introductory comic. I can actually tell how long ago this was written by looking at the script. She is called "Barbara" in the script. I actually wrote out her whole name even though she goes by Barb.
I stopped doing that in the very next issue. I got the ara right the fuck outta there.
I once said that we're hard on The Jersey Shore in the notes on an older issue. I was not lying. When I drew this I had to look up The Situation, because while I have heard him spoken of, and seen him illustrated on The Simpsons and South Park, I had never actually seen the man. I don't know how old he is, or if it's just all the tanning but that man looks about a thousand years old.
Okay, looked him up. At the time of this writing he is 33 years old. He is 33 and he looks like an old pair of leather shoes.
Was that too mean? Should I apologize to The Situation? If I did apologize to a man known as The Situation would that constitute satire?
These are important questions, and we're all very brave to be asking them.
Man, The Caper Banditos? I love that.
