Wait, but if there are only four fingers and obscene gestures are made with the middle finger in most of the cultures [citation needed], There's no middle finger in four fingers. You have the first, the second, the second to last and the last one. Therefore there wouldn't be any need to be furious about raising any finger in the first place so the joke loses its meaning and so does life. We're nothing but undeveloped four-fingered creatures doomed to never flip each other off...
