Now we get to meet Hop-Hop a little. I know Cathryn is the main character, but she's too much of a goody-two-shoes to act up in class. She'll get her spotlight soon enough.

In the country of Distantland, nothing is as it seems. Cathryn, a young human girl, prides herself on her knowledge. However, when she meets a vampire named Van Von Fang, her world gets turned upside down. Everything she was taught about monsters is put into question. Not only that, but she learns of a threat affecting both sides. Her only hope is to use both wit and kindness to prevent the world she thought she knew from getting destroyed.
