Hello? Yes this is an emergency. There were shots fired by a little girl. Age 8 I believe. She totally roasted her sister.

Now that there's action happening, I guess I forgot to mention that all sound effects are in Japanese. It's way easier to make Japanese sound effects, and it sounds better than "pon" "sss(slide)" "patan" "slap" and "bang". I hope it's obvious what the sounds are even if I don't do a "translator's note". If you want me to mention what each sound is in the description, I'll do so if you tell me.
Also, fun fact time: have you noticed the white space of the right side? that's where the seam of the book goes. We were told to not put anything important in the 'seam space'. It just ended up completely blank on this page.

(Read Comic: Right-to-Left) A girl studies for her mage lessons at school but her little sister causes problems. Of course things gets worse before it gets better.
This is a short story (8 pages) that I wrote and drew for my manga art class while I studied abroad in Japan in 2013. This whole thing was drawn manually and I used real screentones. Nothing was made digitally (except for printing some text as stickers... but that doesn't count). If people are interested, I'll share some of my notes from the class and steps of my process. I could take photos of the class's final project book, too. I hope you like it!
